It was fine for some time if you don´t want to work in other sectors
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
For people living in Cologne, Rimowa is quite easy to reach
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Search for managers or train the current ones to manage their teams and projects according to current standards, not the ones of 30 years ago
Arbeitsatmosphäre
It was OK but the relationship with other departments was sometimes quite difficult
Kommunikation
Communication was very inefficient. At least in my department there was an old-style pyramidal leadership. Disagreeing was seen as something negative. Decisions were not taken as a team. Written communication was very limited
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Quite good with most of the colleagues
Work-Life-Balance
Acceptable but depending on your function home-office was not welcome and the work could not be done without many extra hours which could be taken as holidays only up to a certain amount
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Old fashioned management who just want the employees to obey without arguing. Time-management of the employees could be clearly improved. Lots of useless meetings and lack of internal processes
Interessante Aufgaben
There were a lot of different things to do but the problem is that there were also a lot of chaos about how the projects were handled and a lot of stress to fulfill the timings
Arbeitsbedingungen
Generally speaking good
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Salary as a new employee is below other sectors like automotive, telecomunications or chemical industry. For a "luxury" company could be better
Image
One advantage of the company is indeed the good image and reputation, especially in Germany. But this doesn´t make the job easier or more interesting
Karriere/Weiterbildung
There were not many opportunities for high qualified employees at least in my ex-department. The board and top managers are not in Cologne but in Paris.
