Arbeitsatmosphäre
Very dynamic and energetic. Fast pace, but also rapid progress and successes. The project is absolutely exciting and the drive in the company is incredible. You have to be flexible, but can also actively create and shape. Very intelligent people who creatively and innovatively design, build, test, and operate an orbital rocket.
Kommunikation
Very collegial and at eye level. All ideas are listened to and discussed, even if one person has to decide in the end, of course.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Good! Young people, sharing the same passion. However, with 220 people, it's no longer a startup feeling, where everyone knows everyone else and all 30 people go to lunch together. But that's how it is when the company grows. Still everyone is open and helpful, there is no closing off of individual groups.
Work-Life-Balance
The goal and the path is clear and we are working hard to achieve it as quickly as possible. My private life doesn't suffer from this, quite the opposite: you think about topics even on the weekend without it feeling like work. Its fun, but at the same time important to sometimes actively do something which is not related to rockets and space ;)
Everyone has one day of home office per week. That might be more in other companies, but many people here don't take advantage of it anyway, because with a very hardware-heavy way of working you have to be on site in the office or the workshop anyway.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
I am very happy with my supervisor. Clear instructions if necessary, otherwise a lot of freedom for own ideas and solutions. I get trust, but also help if needed. In addition, clear separation between our private and professional relationship, which is not a matter of course.
Interessante Aufgaben
I mean: We are building an (commercial) orbital rocket. Only a handful of companies in the world have achieved this. The tasks are correspondingly demanding and challenging, but also exciting and varied. Here, you can actively shape things and contribute your own solutions.

Everyone is treated equally, independently from gender, nationality etc.
Arbeitsbedingungen
It's a startup and the money has to be spent carefully. If you expect the latest PCs, the newest machines or a work cell phone, you are wrong at RFA. But everything you need is there and the company is constantly evolving and making more and more possible.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
The company exists only because it wants to make data from space possible, which can then be used to initiate more targeted measures in environmental and climate protection. But the rocket is also sustainably developed, for example with the planned reuse of the first stage.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
It's a startup and salaries are accordingly. However, you are by no means exploited and if the company is successful in the long term, the shares you own will still pay off very well.
There are also little things like a discounted sports subscription, snacks, etc. That's quite nice to have. But people are not in this project for the money or snacks....

In the industry, RFA is known worldwide. In the beginning, some technological decisions were smiled at, but in the meantime, with numerous test successes in various departments, it can be shown that one is on a very promising path. RFA was able to make a name for itself with its approach and technology, but also with its way of openly showing progress.
