Arbeitsatmosphäre
It's a lot of fun to work here. You always get feedback from all around the company and the atmosphere is very light-hearted yet professional.
Kommunikation
The communication style is coined by mostly informal meetings and status updates. On the one hand, this is good because everybody gains a deep understanding of the strategy and daily operations of the company. On the other hand, some important topics are not discussed in enough detail because of the informal spite. Despite this, the leadership team did a great job of keeping everybody well informed during the Corona pandemic and longer phases of remote work.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
There is a very high degree of trust among the co-founders and employees. Everyone is very honest, yet respectful and caring. You can always count on your co-workers to support you if you are in a difficult situation at home or at work.
Work-Life-Balance
The work-life-balance is surprisingly good. I expected long hours when joining a startup but especially the engineering team is really organized and pays attention that nobody is stressed or overworked.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
The hierarchy is really flat at the moment which leads to a laissez-faire leadership style. You work quite autonomously but you can always ask the leadership team and senior co-workers for feedback and guidance.

This is the most exciting thing about Valuedesk! We are still a small team and are building everything from the ground up. Our benchmark are the big players in the technology sector and we are working hard to reach this level. So if you are interested in working like the technology leaders in San Francisco, London or Berlin, Valuedesk is the place to work at!
Gleichberechtigung
Because we are still a small team without any real career ladders this is hard to evaluate objectively. All I can say is that I have decided to work less than the regular 40 hours per week and have not faced any discrimination or disadvantages because of this.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Experience and knowledge is valued a lot. There are more "older" co-workers than at the typical "startup". Our oldest co-worker is even 60+ years old.
Arbeitsbedingungen
The working conditions are good. The essentials like a quiet office and work equipment are covered. You can even choose the equipment you want to have. However, some amenities like free espressos (filter coffee is free though) and a standing desk are missing.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
The company certainly has a high degree of sensitivity for environmental and social issues. However, there has not been enough capacities to follow though with bigger initiatives in the past.

Very good base salary.

There are no programs for career development in place right now. However, you have enough space to explore and learn on your own. This may be tough sometimes but it is a great opportunity.
