Arbeitsatmosphäre

The atmosphere is compared to companies I already worked in really good. The majority of the people has a trustful relationship to their managers. Teams and individuals collaborate together to achieve a common goal.

Kommunikation

The communication has improved a lot in the last year. Mistakes were made in the past and the management has learned from it. There is often no black and white. We can not foresee the future. But the people are willing to make the best decision for now based on the knowledge they have in that moment.
Also communication about mistakes is done very transparent. The management tries to act as a role model here.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

People are very collaborative and supportive. Also across teams. The communication is super quick and is handled without barriers by management.

Work-Life-Balance

There is a lot to do, but people can mostly chose when to work. Normally the team members create the rules inside their own on their own. But then it’s expected also to follow those rules.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The management is always there and anytime tries to support. Lots of them are also working hands on and don’t just delegate work to other employees. The CEO is a down to earth person who is always open for a chat and really interest in improving the product and the work environment for the people.

Interessante Aufgaben

The tasks are really diverse. People have to be aware that normally employees have to take on more than one responsibility or role. But this also makes it interesting. You can be an expert in one field but you’ll probably also have to do additional tasks, that will enrich your perspective.

Gleichberechtigung

In the diverse Wandelbots community all are treated equally. It doesn’t matter if you’re a man, woman or non-binary. Also different cultures, countries and religions are represented.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

The majority of the company are people in the age from 25-40, but the handful elder people are treated equally.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The venue is super nice but not perfect for the daily work with robots. This is clear for everyone. That’s why the company has planned some changes here.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Based on an employees initiative the lunch provider was changed to avoid waste and get food from a regional company. There is the option to charge your electrical car for free. When traveling people try to go by train and avoid the plane.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

The salary is higher in comparison to other companies in the region. Salaries are raised by management when they see an improvement of the employee proactively based on the performance. Normally people don’t have to ask for a raise.
For people who are not living in Dresden the company pays the travel expenses when coming into the office.

The company made a clear statement against right wing and discriminating positions.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There are options to go to conferences and trainings. Management also regularly asks if people want to participate but only a few show interest.
