Employees are people. If only the 10% of this sentence could be understood, there would be an improvement of employee's performance.

If they work in an environment where they aren't trusted, see colleagues being fired after sick-leaves or out of the blue, they cope with a lot of pressure that makes their nervous system going constantly into fight-flight-freeze mode, their mental health will deteriorate and this leads to physical symptoms as head or stomach ache, insomnia, panic attacks, etc... In consequence, KPI's will be affected.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Unbearable. Always having to read the small print of everything and feeling you are walking on eggshells. If I could describe the work atmosphere in three words they would be: mistrust, control and pressure

Kommunikation

Broken promises, lack of transparency and a daily dose of surprises on how to make your work conditions a bit worse.

Unnecessary meetings everyday. One in the early morning and one in the late afternoon.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The few good things. We supported each other a lot.

Work-Life-Balance

Forget about it.

Unrealistic deadlines. Mistrusting employees. Micromanagement.

Interessante Aufgaben

Quantity over quality. If you like to have a nice design portfolio, this is not the place for that.

The technical equipment was provided carefully. I missed having the option of choosing windows or OS. IT department was always reachable and efficient.

When working at the office concentration was difficult. Big rooms and calls the whole time.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

There were different garbage bins for bio and packages.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Underpaid, but always on time. No extras for public transport or meals the days working at the office.

They sold themselves as modern start up and work culture but in reality is nothing else than archaic work-wise. Even if they use Du instead of Sie.

For instance:
- Flexibel Arbeitszeiten -> we couldn't even plan freely our launch break
- Flexibilität: Home-Office oder Büro -> yes, but you are not the one choosing what day you work from home (where you are legally registered, forget about remote) or which days you have to go to the office.

Thank you for your evaluation, even though we find it very unfortunate that you did not have a good experience working with us.

Of course, we take all feedback very seriously and will evaluate the points of criticism raised.

We very much regret that you did not reach out to one of the numerous contact people in our company during your time here. Our HR department and employee representatives (if your Team management is not trusted) can be approached actively at any time. After all, we can only take action and change your situation if you talk to us.

Additionally we conduct regular anonymous employee surveys to gather feedback and create transparency for staff and management.

Decisions to terminate employment are by no means made 'out of the blue', but are preceded by industry regulated performance management discussions with the employee. Good cooperation is a two way street – of course we expect reliability, honesty and a high work standard from our employees.

We are very proud to have been a reliable employer for over 20 years (even in Corona times). Regulated working hours without any overtime requirements, a hybrid workplace model ensure a good work-life balance for our employees.

Our design team are very proud of the work they produce and have created super portfolios.
