We are enjoying ourselves while taking work serious.
Home office is the standard and it does not matter to anyone what my working hours are as long as I am responsive.
I get all the support that I need from my co-workers.
The only hierarchy level is having CEOs, and they treat everyone equally.
Could always ask anyone and people are respecting each other. Strategy updates could be done more often.
My co-workers are from Germany, India, Pakistan, Ukraine, Spain, and the USA. We are a very mixed environment. Everyone is treated equally. No matter is full-time or student.
A lot of focus is on AI.
Home office, open minded people
The people leading the company have a positive attitude and are not typically German. I enjoy working with this team as the founders and co-workers appreciate every person on the team.
Customers perceive our work as a valuable contribution to what they do. This makes me proud and I think others feel the same.
100% home office because this company runs as a virtual team. I enjoy being able to work in my evenings.
There is no real plan nor budget nor HR department. Things are not yet organised in this area and I would expect this area to become more structured in the future. Because this is a startup do not expect a fully structured HR department, instead more an ad-hoc style of working on these issues.
To me this is a clear 5star rating because no body is let down and there is no finger pointing. As long as I contribute to the effort I can be sure I get full support from the others.
Could not really judge this. Devs are in their 20's / 30's, the founders in their 40's / 50's. What else could I say?
I like the founders attitude: getting things done without getting into a rush mode.
Hard to judge this one because we have no physical office. When we meet we meet at good co-working spaces. The founder makes sure we meet at different spots to make it interesting enough.
Team meetings are short because we do not enjoy long calls. We prefer quick 1:1 chats / calls to clarify issues and I could get instant feedback on my work if my team lead is available. Sometimes the workload is higher and I have to wait for a review. Wished the response time would be quicker some times.
Slack is the method of choice. All channels are open and you could see what's going on regarding different subjects.
Think the payment is fair. It's a startup. Bigger corporates probably pay higher, but the home office option pays off for me.
The majority of people on the team is male. One of the general managers is female. Other than that: people are from different regions of the world and discrimination has never been an issue.
The product is B2B. Still we get in touch with super-users regularly. There is a lot AI / Machine Learning going on which was a new field to me.
