The creation of duty rosters is largely not aligned with the employees. I can only speak for the onboard staff here. Personal preferences are little to not at all considered. Consequently, there is often frustration throughout the workforce, as the duty rosters naturally have a significant impact on private and leisure life. Additionally, the vacation policy does not allow for longer breaks even outside the peak seasons. In my opinion, there is great potential for motivation here.
