Colleagues are like friends and there is space for fun
A lot to do, sometimes quite stressful and in high season also on call duty.
But still the possibility to be flexible if needed.
You need to proof yourself, then you can have a nice career there
Starting salaries are OK, for good ones you need to deliver upfront
Most of the people are quite young, but still respect the few older people
Team lead and company lead are top!
Nice office, nice equipment, modern tech stack
Always informed about the current situation and strategy of the company
People from all around Europe (and sometimes even from the rest of the world) are working together and enjoy the cultural enrichment
If you manage to convince your lead that it could help the company you can do it.
Nice One if you consider a startup. Obviously during high season which falls when everyone is on holiday, you see pressure on peoples' face
Never had issues with holiday request or work from home. Just need to inform upfront
Salary as per industry standard. But can be better with hikes and bonuses and other company benefits which is not there where I want it but hope will improve as company grows
Very good CTO. Never seen in any company a CTO that codes. Always helpful, listens to you and makes environment a fun place
No issues with communication at least in the product team
Being startup lots of interesting tasks through out the year
Supportive, dynamic, and willing to make an impact on our world. Huge thanks to the founding team and the managers for the opportunity.

Continue Growing !!!
The work atmosphere was very dynamic and supportive. Every day felt like an opportunity to learn and grow.
Checkyeti's Trustpilot, Google and other reviews speak for themselves.
The company genuinely values the well-being of employees, offering flexible hours, remote work, and a lot of different activities outside working hours.
Opportunities for career growth are abundant here.
The salary and benefits package are extremely competitive.
The initiatives taken by the company reflected their commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
There was a real sense of unity and teamwork. Everyone is approachable and willing to lend a hand or an ear.
Interactions with older colleagues were characterized by mutual respect and learning. It truly enhanced the work experience for all.
The management team was truly inspiring. They lead by example and are always available for guidance or support. Shoutout to the Head of Operations amongst others.

The variety and challenge of the tasks assigned here kept the work engaging and fulfilling.

Work/life balance fully respected with normal working hours.

Great team cohesion, both at work and in our private lives, where we spend a lot of after-work time together.
I haven't had to deal with older colleagues, so I'll give them a neutral mark.
The manager was very correct, giving us a great deal of freedom to learn, even as a trainee, but still regularly reminding us of the objectives we had to achieve.
Good working conditions with the provision of all the devices needed to work. Chairs can be a little old and can cause back pain.
Communication was excellent, since we all work together every day.
completely multi-cultural company no problem on this side
The tasks were interesting and very stimulating for a 3-month internship, but in my opinion, it maybe gets boring over the long term.
Flache hierarchy.
One aspect I valued is the supportive work culture and dynamic environment which allowed me to grow and learn quickly. It also fosters a sense of belonging and encourages open communication and teamwork.
What I also enjoyed a lot was the extent of freedom I had when doing my work and possibilities of introducing new ideas.
Another aspect is the focus on customer satisfaction. The company ensures that the services provided meet and exceed the customer's expectations and it is simply nice to experience and take part in this value creation.
Establishing more transparent and structured career paths to help employees understand how they can grow within the company's dynamic environment.
Improving the infrastructure and support for remote work.
The atmosphere at CheckYeti is vibrant and energetic, creating a strong sense of community in the teams. There are a lot of events organized and people are fun which makes it very nice to work together.
The company tries to provide a work-life balance, but due to the nature of the industry and the job, there are times when long hours are required and it is sometimes somewhat challenging to achieve this balance.
You can start in quite a high position right away which is super nice and you can learn a lot from the start. However, the progression pathways can sometimes be a bit unclear requiring employees to proactively seek out and advocate for their own advancement within the organization.
Is competitive, could be a bit higher. However there are regular salary increases.
My colleagues were incredibly supportive and it was a pleasure to work with them.
Superiors were very approachable and understanding. We had monthly feedback sessions where we discussed expectations and opportunities, which created an easy communication channel. Also, if I ever had a problem there was always somebody I could talk to.
The work environment is well-equipped. My favorite part was the football table and the sieve carrier coffee machine.
Communication within the company is very open and there is a culture of mutual respect and trust.
Fair treatment and same opportunities for all employees are ensured.
Working in the business development team, one of the most interesting tasks for me was the strategic planning and acquisition of partnerships with local and international outdoor activity providers. I have learnt a lot in that time and met some really cool people along the way.
Together with what I mentioned in my previous points, I highlight the following: CheckYeti is a company that is about team spirit, hard work, international relationships, growth and exciting projects!
One minus for someone who could be considering CheckYeti as a future place to work... it is a super dynamic place, where you will have to take ownership of tasks from the very beginning... don't know, but some people may not enjoy that... I guess
There is always room for improvement - and as I have experienced myself, CheckYeti is always willing to take feedback and implement changes. I would suggest some changes in the space's set up in the offices (as well as adding some extra perks for employees, for example).
Friendly, team spirit and easy-going environment (but also hardworking and committed to its mission and vision!). CheckYeti offers an international and young team, full of energy and goodwill.
Regular working hours allow for enjoying the after-work hours. Only during high high season periods (with the Tourism high season dates) some shifts finish at 19:00 BUT this means you start working later in the morning, so technically you have half the morning free.
If there is anything I would like to highlight is the large number of opportunities CheckYeti has given me - and many of the colleagues I work with. As a fast-paced and growing business, new tasks and responsibilities are always coming up and are within the reach of anybody who wishes to get involved. Is easy to bring up new project ideas and take fully over and develop them. Just need to check with your leaders and they will give you the drive to do it... and will be with you during the process!
Everybody in these offices is different, with different backgrounds and cultures, roles, responsibilities... but one common thing: team playing and support is always there!
One of the best things at CheckYeti is how easy and approachable managers are, for any need you may have. As a foreigner in Vienna during my first year, I especially appreciated the help I received for my administrative topics in the city.
But, most relevant for me, not only did they help me through that process but always kept (and keep) me motivated to embrace new challenges and take bigger and bigger steps in my career in the company and as a professional.
The offices are spacious (two floors), although, during high season periods, it can be a bit crowded since some more people join the team for those short times (internships, part-time jobs). But there are several separate spaces where you can sit alternatively and work in a quieter environment (outdoor terrace, open space, soundproof phone booths, etc.)
On the other hand, all the needed tools are provided by the company and you have your own space for setting everything to your liking.
This I would say is one of the topics in which CheckYeti has improved a lot in the last year. Since I started some years ago until today, the communication channels have been opened and enlarged immensely. Not only within teams but also in a wider scope of the business goals, plans, and results themselves.
When talking more precisely about communication with leaders, managers, and colleagues, from the beginning this was and is easy and rewarding!
Together with dynamic and fun, "interesting" perfectly describes how CheckYeti is. Sometimes a full bag of wonderings, multi-tasking and changes, but always rewarding and fruitful results.
- the possibility to learn a lot in the first 2 months
- the open office and how you directly connect with your colleagues
- home office
- weekly planned smaller events and quarterly larger company or team events
- earlier communication of goals or future plans (at least with long term employees)
- "wellness initiatives": Introducing wellness programs or initiatives to support the physical and mental well-being of employees (like office Yoga)
- further remote work support: Providing additional resources or support for remote work to ensure a seamless and productive work experience for employees working from home
You could talk to anyone in this company and everyone would be happy to help you personally. CheckYeti truly lives the "learning" and "growth mindset culture", where making mistakes is seen as an opportunity to learn and improve, not as a failure.
From what I noticed there are on the one hand comments about aspects that could be improved (as in all aspects of life).
On the other hand people enjoyed their time at CheckYeti to the fullest and couldn't think about a better workplace. Speaking for myself, I am now really glad to work here and with my team.
- Policies changed quite a lot in the last year. Now I'm able to do home office when I choose.
- Holidays require team coordination, and longer breaks are restricted during high season peak weeks, but in alignment with the team days off are not a problem.
- You have different core working hours depending on the team.
For me it was a very good start out of my comfort zone right into the working world. In the first months already, I could learn so much about myself and what I am able to do. I also don't think I am already at the end, in the daily business many tasks just stay the same but there is always room for improvement and learning new skills or getting new responsibilities.
Could be better, could be worse
Everyone is creating a strong sense of unity and collaboration in the workplace. It's remarkable how well everyone works together as a team. It feels like going to school everyday and seeing your friends.
Like colleagues, but on the same time always someone to go to, to ask for help or for inspiration.
Workplace: Computers and screens are new, but the desks themselves are a bit small. During the high season weeks, the office gets busier. Sometimes I like to "escape" and work from the nice common area.
It's nice to work across teams and be in touch with the different teams on a daily basis, because that's the only way we can achieve every teams goals. And in weekly team meetings all team leads share insights into what is currently happening in the other teams and what challenges they are facing at the moment.
This business as well as the tasks and the workload is divided into 2 low and 2 high seasons a year. That impact varies depending on the position and team you are in.
So verdient kununu Geld.
