High uncertainty & stress environment
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The best are truly the people and personal connections.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Constant changes, stress, uncertainty. Hiring, firing culture.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Generally good, if you want it to be. People are great throughout - so you always find people to talk to or have fun with but most are overworked, constantly stressed and can't move/solve anything with you and need CEO decision for everything.
Atmosphere worsened in 2024 as up to 12 colleagues were fired for no understandable reason and a lot of others quit or will quit soon.
Kommunikation
If you go the extra mile - good. People on all levels are open for communication and to help. Issue is communication with CEO as he seems to change his mind frequently and you never know if what he said is still true or already changed again. Leads to constant uncertainty for those who care and others don't care anymore.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Colleagues are great and stick together as much as possible. Only disrupted by management pitting people against eachother.
Work-Life-Balance
Not existent. While you can flexibly choose your hours within a reasonable timeframe. Company wants you to work all the time, or better be available for company needs all the time and you get no recognition for your efforts as they are seen as self-evident. I noticed people even working longer hours than allowed in Austria and just not write them.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Generally good. Leadership or whats still left tries their best with open communication and involvement of people but there is only so far management can do since the CEO is shaping everything. CEO has a hiring, firing mindset, where peoples' knowledge is being taking and when they can't give more they are fired. There are no efforts regarding development of people, people need to fill needed slots/roles (which can change frequently as well) and if they can't (yet), they are fired. I.e. People are promoted into leadership roles and fired shortly after.
Interessante Aufgaben
What the company does is great and if you get to do tasks they are also interesting and fulfilling. Just lacks processes, automations. It's a constant fire fighting work environment that you just have to accept and be able to deal with
Gleichberechtigung
There is certainly diversity in males from differnt countries and cultures which makes it a great international work environment. They are also all accepted and equal. But there are hardly any women, not in C Level at all and also throughout. Women are if existent in typical "assisting" female roles, no extra efforts in keeping women, hiring women or developing women. And a lot of them were fired this year or quit due to the toxic not improving culture.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
There are hardly any
Arbeitsbedingungen
Since the move to schwechat everything has been kept quite basic. Takes a long time to get equipment or updates of things.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Only really one benefit left - edenred or a parking slot at the airport financially supported by the company.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
My salary was okay
Image
Not good between regular employees or potential employees, can't say on management or Shareholder level.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Non existent. No efforts in developing people or giving trainings, people are promoted to be fired. Hiring, firing culture. Not event time for solid onboardings.
