Great learning experience but there is room for improvement

One area where I struggled was communication. At some times, I felt that my supervisor was unclear in communicating expectations, which led to delays in my work. Additionally, it often took a long time to receive responses, and I occasionally had to ask multiple times before getting an answer if I even got one. This lack of timely communication made it difficult to work efficiently.

We had a fantastic team work, where everyone supported each other and worked collaboratively. The positive atmosphere made it easy to share ideas, ask for help, and tackle challenges together.
Work-Life-Balance
I worked part-time at this company, and initially, I struggled with maintaining a good work-life balance. I often received emails outside of my working hours or on weekends, and there were times when I had difficulty balancing work with my studies. On some occasions, I was expected to be reachable at work during university lectures, which created additional stress. However, once I set clear boundaries and defined my working hours, I began to ignore emails outside of those times, which helped me manage my responsibilities more effectively. I think this solution was fine for me and also for everyone else.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
In my experience, my supervisor was respectful and supportive, always willing to offer guidance and help when needed, both for work-related tasks and study-related issues. For example, it was no problem to receive help with my master’s thesis application through a letter of recommendation, which I greatly appreciated. However, while I personally didn’t face significant issues, I was aware that some of my colleagues did, and this was always in the back of my mind.
Interessante Aufgaben
In general, I enjoyed the tasks assigned to me and appreciated the opportunity to learn a lot. However, there were instances where I encountered difficulties due to a lack of explanation for certain tasks. Many tasks were approached through a "learning by doing" method, which sometimes left gaps in understanding. Additionally, I handled a significant amount of back-office tasks as well as marketing duties. Over time, as tasks from former colleagues were reassigned to me and my own workload increased, it became challenging to maintain high quality across all responsibilities. The growing volume of work made it difficult to complete everything to the best of my ability.

Arbeitsbedingungen
There was the option to work 100% remotely, which was a great benefit for me as student. Additionally, there was a small office located in a very central area. Although the office consisted of just one room, it was adequate for my needs as a part-time employee.

The company occasionally made donations to environmental and social organizations, which was a positive aspect of its corporate responsibility efforts.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
For me, the payment was satisfactory. I was regularly offered opportunities to earn more, but as a student, I chose to decline these offers to avoid losing any governmental social benefits. Overall, the compensation met my needs given my part-time status and circumstances.

I was generally able to combine studying with working quite well, largely because I could define my work hours flexibly and work from home.
