The projects are really interesting and you learn a lot, but it’s not worth all the bad things happening internally.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
This was by far the worst job experience I‘ve ever had. Technology Consulting is a complete illusion from the outside world. The partners created a super toxic environment, where I became a victim of sexual harassment, and there are rumors that I was not an exception. There are also rumors of bullying and women are treated very poorly, which should NOT be happening in times like these. Also in your personal business goals you are „forced“ to be part at every internal event/party (where most of the incidents like sexual harassment happen, since people in higher position feel kind of safe). And also reporting these incidents internally to the ethics team was impeded during the whole process, where I was told not to talk to them anymore.
Apart from that you have to sacrifice your personal life in order to get promoted and especially as a Junior/in a lower position you have almost no right to a say. Oh and btw most of the Kununu entries with „Technology Consulting“ in the title are fake, since people are animated internally to write them and get clear instructions what to write.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
The ethics team should be taken seriously by partners and especially Technology Consulting needs a very good monitoring, since there are too many incidents happening and many women have to endure a lot and will get almost no support. Also there should be no interferences with one’s personal life especially not when it comes to be present at every party and event in order to get promoted. I also think that young people are wasting there time when being educated in a certain field of expertise and then are send to completely different projects, where they struggle and are left alone. Personal development goals should be taken seriously and also don’t send young people to expensive trainings and „force“ them to stay with the company by binding them with a repayment agreement.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Very toxic, especially for young women who are reduced to their appearance.
Kommunikation
If you are motivated and dedicated you could be left alone in very sophisticated projects and there will be very little support from those actually responsible. Also in the project I was in, there was very little communication and I also was not taken seriously by Managers and above.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
There are people in the team that try to improve the team spirit, but they are also an exception. All in all you have to be egocentric in order to survive.
Work-Life-Balance
Big4 Consulting, but there are also people who have nothing to do and chill, when others are struggling and are burning out.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
You can’t trust the partners and there are also very few Managers that are trustworthy.
Interessante Aufgaben
One of the very few positive aspects of Technology Consulting.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
There are older colleagues, but they also struggle with the general conditions.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Very noisy, especially when there are parties and heavy drinking. But the view is nice.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
The salary is okay, but not when you are working 60-70 hours a week (All-In).

I think that the image is still good, but it starts to reveal the whole picture which is not a good one.
