Require managers to have more technical expertise in the field where they are actually working on and not promote them based on number of years they've spent in the company

Constantly being micro-managed by multiple managers. Normally managers/supervisors don't have a strong technical knowledge and constantly require help/information from planners. Most of the time the decisions made by managers aren't clear and affect negatively the planners workload

Micromanagement, difficult to communicate with supervisors/managers and address properly and efficiently the issues. Mostly due to their lack of solid technical knowledge

Tasks are neither interesting nor challenging. Many tasks could be improved, but surely you aren't very motivated when you know that your efforts won't be recognised.

There aren't many old planners since the employee turnover rate is very high.
Arbeitsbedingungen
The building/facility is new, clean... However almost no walls, sometimes is very noisy and you can't get concentrated. Also, in the summer there's no AC and it's really hot! The only thing that you receive from the company is a small desk fan
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
As expected for a manufacturing company.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Due to the workload, it's very difficult to learn new things. And promotions are strongly based on (1) soft skills and (2) the number of years you've been working for the company. The importance of technical knowledge is almost close to zero.
