Toxic work culture and a lack of development options - all for low pay.
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
There is a lot of lovely people working there and everyone is usually friendly with one another.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Salary, lack of honest feedback/criticism, working hours, perks.
The employee benefits and events such as Christmas dinners etc are the absolute bottom of the barrel in terms of quality and frequency.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Raise the salary or let people actually write down their overtime. Also, stop hiring everyone only to just kick them out after a year.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Depends on the team you get. Can be good but on average it's not great.
Kommunikation
Most infos you hear through the grapevine. The promotion process is a mystery even to MDs at times..
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Very competitive and toxic
Work-Life-Balance
Depends heavily on the project. Definitely not working long hours like in strategy consulting companies though.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
You are just a number. While you are being promised all kinds of good things they rarely follow up with their promises and usually blame it on the economic situation etc.
Interessante Aufgaben
can be very interesting but depending on the project you get.
Gleichberechtigung
There is a prayer room for muslims but it's almost always occupied by an MD working or having a conference. If you enter you'll be yelled at. Most measures are just for show. There is an info event/presentation every week where analysts talk about diversity and how it is so great at Accenture....
Men and women are in separate baskets regarding promotion (50/50 split). So if you are a male in a domain which is dominated by women you are in luck and the other way around. Why they would not let women compete with men given the competitive environment is beyond me.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Most are actually nice on a personal level. It still is a top down culture though
Arbeitsbedingungen
Way too few seats in the office.... they rely on the consultants working from home mostly. There is a new office coming in '24
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Hard for me to judge.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
The fixed salary is very low and in reality you will not be able to write down more than 10% of your overtime. Usually, you work 60/70 hours a week and if you write down overtime your project lead/MD will have a talk with you and ask why you don't work efficiently, why you are working so slowly, if there are any problems etc. This is why in reality very few actually write down their overtime.
Image
Not seen as a good consulting company. Lower end in the branch
Karriere/Weiterbildung
If you do it right you can get ahead quickly internally. Exit options can't be compared to higher tier consulting companies.
