Showing that the company cares about employees at least as much as they care about the business would have been appreciated.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
There is always a doom feeling. You are constantly under the impression the company is going to run out of money soon. Anything that the company does has a prime objective of saving money. Many good employees are leaving and no replacement is hired instead, which increases the workload of others and lowers the mood.
Kommunikation
Employees are the last to be informed about anything, although the situation is trying to improve.

Work-Life-Balance
Flexi time was allowed at the beginning but no longer. Now employees are not allowed to accumulate hours to compensate later. 40h a week per standard contract is positive.
Home office was never allowed (management needs to have control), perhaps will change after COVID.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Management is disconnected from reality. New stringent policies are implemented almost weekly, which require often lots of paperwork. There is generally low trust in employees, that is why decisions have to be approved few levels above you before anything gets done.
Interessante Aufgaben
Tasks are very variable. As little investments are done in R&D lately, most of the work is mere calculation which could be done by contractors. Planning anything is very complicated and uncertain as the Italian headquarters need to be involved at all steps.
Arbeitsbedingungen
New office with A/C is very nice and close to the station. Laptops are of good quality but make sure yours does not break as IT processes are very slow and full of paperwork.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Sustainability is not discussed in the company.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
With every new hire the salary is lowered.

Good image with customers. Well known company in Italy.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
No development. Training is allowed only internally, but as more experienced employees keep leaving, the overall knowledge is decreasing. As it is a shrinking company, very little or no career opportunities are available.
