Doodle is a business, and in the end it is about making money. But, it has the people at heart and appreciates them and I feel that this matters to the company. So I'd say the culture in general.
Cannot really say, and I work here since a long time.
Keep working on the product to make ads less intrusive
The work environment at Doodle is truly exceptional, fostering a culture of collaboration, support, and care.
Here there would be a lot of positive things to say, but the most remarkable thing was announced internally this week that the company will pilot a 4.5 days wek in summer. This is a company that truly value work-life balance. It's not just about getting the job done, but making sure we all have time to recharge and enjoy life outside of work. It's something it's actively supported and encouraged among the team members.
Here I am not sure what can be done more, but I know Doodle donates to UNHCR
The people are top-notch! There is such a cool mix of talent, everyone is keen on collaborating with other departments.
One thing I love about our managers at Doodle is how they trust us with autonomy. They're not breathing down our necks all the time; they give us space to do our thing and really own our projects. It's pretty awesome to feel trusted like that
I cannot understand other comments on this matter by others, as I witness a culture that prioritizes transparency and openness within the company. We hold regular all-hands meetings where we openly discuss the health of the company, share key metrics and numbers, and provide access to detailed insights through Power BI. These resources are readily available to all employees, allowing for easy verification and understanding of our company's status at any time.
The people working here are fantastic. But the management is not worth the worries, the questions, the uncertainties that poison their good work.
Everything else except the friendly atmosphere and dedicated people.
The worst thing ever done is faltering to investor demands. Doodle was good the way it is, but maximizing for profit before Doodle catches up to it's competitors is asinine. I am afraid Doodle will restructure until there is nothing left.
The people working here are great, except for upper management
Abysmal
Issues are not communicated until the last second.
If the decisions made were based on user feedback, it would work really well
Arrange more possibilities to get connected to your colleagues since mostly people work 100% remote
Besides fix due dates there was a good flexibility for vacation time
Regular all hands meetings give you a great overview about the vision and current situation
Unfortunately there were not that interesting topics for me
they managed to bring doodle down in just two years. It was once the plattform for scheduling, now it is just a joke. the app is miserable and the free doodle is so covered with ads, that it is a joke. the management should be replaced immediately
I've been working at Doodle for 2 years and I feel that there is a genuine interest in improving things for the people. We are asked to fill surveys but after we get action plans and know what has been done to get better. I've also never worked in such a collaborative environment before - when I need support I always get it. More importantly I find that Doodle leaves space for autonomy and self organisation, which is positive considering that the motto here is "own your time" - I would rather have that than some high class benefits. Talking of which they are not too bad but could be improved (1500 euros educational budget/year, work remotly from eu 3 months, anywhere in the doodle locations, yoga, headspace, drinks etc..)
Nothing
I would recommend Doodle to hire more people to better tackle the workload - sometimes this can become too much
I find the salary quite competitive - benchmarks are adjusted regularly and the befits are as per industry standards
Doodle has room for improvement here. There have been actions like donating to UNICEF in support of Ukraine ad other efforts in recruitment and hopefully more of this will follow
Doodle is getting there - not yet perfect but there are opportunities for internal mobility
Great benefits
