Instead of wasting money on pointless items like plastic pens, generic motivational postcards, and sanitary wipes disguised as spa towels, they should focus on improving the work culture—starting by replacing the 80% of top management responsible for the toxic environment.

Endless issues stem from poor management. The atmosphere is miserable, people are unhappy. It’s a toxic environment.

Management refuses to listen to the truth. They prefer pretense over honest feedback and would rather hear only good news than face reality—or address the real problems.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Talking to HR will only backfire and end your career. They should work for the US police force: everything you say will be used against you.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Management’s primary goal is to protect their own status within the organization. They have no interest in developing the leaders of their departments, resulting in the same people repeating the same mistakes year after year. Meanwhile, junior employees and lower ranks experience constant turnover.
Some departments are in a perpetual hiring cycle—especially when it benefits the manager by making them appear more important—while others are never allowed to hire at all. For everyone else, hiring has been frozen for years. Resulting in more work for people that actually work.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
The biggest deception of this place:
They removed all the regular bins that had served their purpose for years and replaced them with new recycling stations and oversized plastic containers.
Staff complained, and as a result, people are now required to dispose of their trash in paper bags on their desks—bags that were specifically produced just for this purpose!
After you carefully sort your waste at the recycling station, all of it is ultimately thrown back together and not recycled at all. Everything ends up in the same trash. It’s greenwashing at its finest.

The brand prioritizes cutting costs over quality. While other luxury brands focus on refining every detail, IWC tries to conceal its cost-saving measures—doing the exact opposite of what a true luxury brand should. It’s no surprise they lack high-quality certifications for their movements, and independent journalists consistently deliver harsh reviews.
