This large corporate produces incredible amounts of noise, but very little information. Actually, the important information is not shared. Way too many meetings and working groups. Also incredibly bureaucratic. The Oracle ERP system is terrible.

Since you can work from home 100%, and you have no core working hours, this company is great for people with a young family. Also great for people who want to live in a remote (cheap) area, but earn a high salary.

In Germany, almost the entire business are sustainability projects, so you will be helping the environment. But in other countries, Arcadis works for terribly unsustainable companies, like Chevron, Exxon and Shell.

Overall a sustainable company, working for sustainable projects, also promoting using public transport. But still the company works for very polluting companies, especially in other countries.

Most people earn far less than the average externally and are underpaid. So once you join, you will systematically earn less than inflation. Also there are no specials like 13th month, Christmas money, nothing like that.
