A good place but
Verbesserungsvorschläge
I've been with Avodaq for a few months now in the software deparment, and I'll do my best to give a balanced review . Firstly, the team here is quite good, and the managers, at all levels, seem to be competent and supportiv. It's clear the company know how to pick their leaders, which is a positive aspect.
However, transparency is lacking within the company, and there's a sense of discrimination that can't be ignored. Additionally, while the English used in the work place is generally good, there are occasions where a translator might be needed, especially with certain emails.
In terms of overall experiences, I wouldn't say this company is the best place I've worked in, but it's certainly not the worst either. One notable observation is the significant gap between employees who have been here for more than ten years and newcomers like myself. It almost feels like there are two different leagues within the company. one league knows more and do not want to transfer the knoledge .
On a more personal note, I've encountered some individuals who were quite rude, like the employee who sent me a mobile from Munich. Despite my atempts to be polite and ask questions, her responses were unnecessarily harsh, which can be overwhelming for someone new to the company at their first day . I do not know if she is discriminitive or she does that with everyone but I I was afraid to contact her after all and sought hilfe from other finance employees. some people are hard to work with but she was impossible.
In terms of sallary, it's about average for Germany, which is reasonable. On the positive side, the team here is genuinely nice, and the central Berlin location is convenient.
Overall, Avodaq has its pros and cons.
