Lack of transparency in the promotion process. Huge discrepancy in company’s culture between theory and practice.

Stop promoting young arrogant and immature people. Keep the focus on people and consumers well-being and put it in real practice.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
“Work Hard” and be unnecessary under pressure. Lots of working hours for a very low result. Strong hierarchical structure which does not filter the pressure.
Kommunikation
No clear briefing, several layers of managers who are only executing orders/directions from above. Empowerment is only a mirage there. Permanently working with unreasonable tight deadlines.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
It depends on your team but people are not really sticking together. Some managers are so arrogant and immature that they are not even greetings their colleagues and ignore them.
Work-Life-Balance
Work hard is a key value and sometimes counterproductive. It’s changing a bit towards more work-life balance but don’t expect to get promoted if you are not doing min of 50 hours /week
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Immature and arrogant with a clear lack of leadership skills. Apply only what is dictated from the top without caring about employees or consumers.
Gleichberechtigung
Diversity is promoted and changing slowly but it’s still a WASP dominated culture.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Very bad, strong agism culture. Old colleagues are perceived as too expensive, not flexible enough. The company is missing of people with good experiences and keep only “show-off” and easily influenced young people.

Not the right product for it. Go somewhere else

Very well paid and good benefits
Image
Very bad products with a negative Image and a declining Future. It will not look good on your resume at a period where ESG is so important. Money is not everything….
Karriere/Weiterbildung
The company offers a lot of opportunities in terms of know-how development. You will get good tools to learn and get new skills. Concerning a career development, it’s more a question of fitting in a box, by showing a strong ego and using a “fake it until your make it strategy”( being good at your job is not helpful ).
