Transparent; Working atmosphere; The opportunity to contribute to a still early stage company.
The opportunity is given to help shape a relatively young company.
In the past the communication was a bit naive with respect to future projects and engagements. This is changing though.
In the last couple of weeks/months I noticed a slight shift towards management
Not everything that shines is gold, but you can not complain about the working atmosphere. It is really good.
To me projects have a big influence on the working atmosphere
At the moment I classify the company as a `hidden gem`. We will see if we can act upon the potential.
You have almost complete freedom in how you structure your day as long as you are reliable and are able to contribute in a meaningful way to the team's goals. However, it is in the best interest of everyone when colleagues respect the wishes of the team. So far we always managed to find individual solutions.
As we are a highly international team, Crvsh is very flexible when it comes to working remote.
The project situation remains unpredictable, although Crvsh managed to secure two long term projects, which will help to further strengthen our visibility.
However, dedication and exceptional contributions are seen and people can climb the career ladder by doing a great job every day.
If you want to attend a conference, you simply ask our boss. I guess the same is true if you want to aquire a certificate.
It is a good starting point. Competitive salary.
Although it is a startup, no equity compensation is offered.
Not applicable yet. A lot of people walk to the office or commute by bike. However our parent company does a lot in this regard.
All in all, alright.
Although most colleagues are in their early / mid-thirties, I do not know of a case that could imply that younger employees could be given preferential treatment.
Not even in job interviews.
Some people set an exceptionally high standard, which in turn motivates the teams. Constructive criticism is highly welcome and people are invited to contribute to the overall direction of the company.
Although we feel the influence of the parent company, the hierarchy is still flat. So people can still raise their concerns when they feel it is appropriate.
Given the company size, we have a huge office in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg. During summer there are days, when it is almost unbearable to work in the office due to the fact that our office is under the roof and facility management does not invest in proper air conditioning yet. This is not really Crvh's fault though.
Our boss is very serious in being transparent and communicating expectations in time.
We have a highly international team and colleagues are treated with highest respect.
Crvsh operates at the forefront of Vodafone's digitization initiative, hence it gives us a unique opportunity to apply new ideas and concepts (within the realm of IT project management and software engineering) and to contribute to Vodafone's future business.
However, the path is long and unpredictable and requires that we continuously adapt in order to gain trust. This also creates tension as you cannot expect to change the way a company does business from one day to the other.
This can sometimes be quite daunting, which is why Crvsh also supports its developers in pursuing side projects or contributing to open source.
Honest, together decision making effort is rewarded
Cooperation with vodafone and responisibilty on vodafones side needs improvement.
All the team just has a good click
As everyone is own responsible to do a good job, you are as well responsible for your own well-being.
Environmental can be more cared for
We have a budget to spend to educate ourselves, go to conferences
We have frequent "cards against humanity" drinks with colleagues
"you better ask for forgiveness, not for permission"
All good, just sometimes working for a big cooperation in the background communication is lacking - but not within crvsh

Some colleagues are nice people with whom you can have nice discussions and the atmosphere is good.
Some colleagues are weird. There's literally no trust in this company. Everyone is lying behind your back.
Change out the management. The idea is quite good but the company has been mismanaged in a very bad waY over the last months. Don't know who hired them.
Management is the worst for the company. Over the last few weeks nothing changed to the better although they always promised to change something.
The salaries very a lot for no reason. Some colleagues can't choose an iPhone as a phone while others can.
They said they are a disruption lab but they have never released a single thing in the last 12 months. All the people from the management are just so slow and no one takes responsibility for anything.
