Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Currently absolutely nothing. I think I will get depressed or get burnout if I stay any longer here.

The new Company lead posted something about being brutally honest with company critique. I Hope those are not only empty words found on a wall tattoo. For my part I'm done with the company and I can only hope that the people reading this and maybe also People from the Board will not silverline those comments or relativate the issues at hand.
Rcognition is not done by just making a livestream and celebrating yourself for something other people did. Its done by listening to those who work for you and to correctly recognize their behaviour. If you just cut them out of revenue or reached goals and don't recognize talent when there is something. You will lose the people who really care for the company and the left overs are the ones who will just do your bidding. If you do something then that is not in the interest of the company They will just blindly follow you! They will not care for errors the company does as they care so less that they don't see a reason to make a difference.
This dystropic Vision is hopefully not the Company feels toing on their misson.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Dreieich testing hall is absolutely hilarious. There the company was to lazy to get a supplier for insalling a working heater so it was designed by inhouse engineers that can give no real qualification for this. Most of the work spaces are not really used but this is more of a room renting policy problem. But still the worker will be responsible as they are not coming. A clear lack of understanding hybrid working spaces and how to engage people in working from there.
We get shown a highclass working space at Uppsala which is like heaven compared to our cave we have here. And we are getting blamed why we want to work more remote. Even as benefit for soon to be parents this gets declined. This is absolutely not a working space where anyone wants to be.

Space is sacre and if you have projects they will mostlikely not happen as you will have to make room for much bigger projects. And if other People are responsible for your missing of a ODT milestone it's you who is at fault.

Mörfelden is actually better. Now a working internet, actual working heaters missing an air conditioning but since it was designed as a logistic center this is okay. People there are also a bit nicer.

Kommunikation

We have 1o1 meetings with our superiors on a regular basis which is a plus.

Rest is more of a minus:
Training that may be important is often not really communicated
Some superiors even don't know what you actually do and cannot suport you in an efficent way
The Cytiva strategy eludes me completely as most meeting are disigned in Livestream form where critical questions are not answerd and more ignored. Critique is not wished!
Core Values are only a responsibility of the working class but the rest is not really doing it. True you get sent Videos of how people do this across the country but you can see it in their eyes that they are only reading something of a prompter. Real experiences I don't know.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

So and so!
There is a small grourp surrounding certain people located at the base floor or the technicans that actively do something for this. Like having a summerfestival or a gamenight or a potluck. But beyond that there are not so many people agitated in this.
The entity does nothing for this. They spend thousands in Logistics and manifolds that nobody needs but are to big chepskates to organize a good Christmas festival or paying for company diners.

Work-Life-Balance

People have a life in the company nothing more!

I saw people staying from 7 am staying to 7pm I also did. And you get nothing from this. Only thing is if you come the next day a bit later or leave earlier you gat a comment or are asked why.

Programms for wellnes or something isn't there. Last time I saw a presentation regarding this in the company there where the regions listed with programms listed for this. And Danaher supports this.
For all other regions they had fitness programms, some jogging meetings yoga or meditation and for us it was set 'On Hold'. Thank you for not caring at all.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

More bad than good. Sometimes somethings are escalated way to much and other thing not. If you try to provide a flexible solution you get denied and later then they present this as their own ideas. Nice. They want to support you but if you give them a task they can help you with they are often incapaple of helpiung you because they don't know how it's done.
Micromanagement is also a thing. They want to control every move you make. It's like they don't trust you at all.

Interessante Aufgaben

Not really! You are traded as an egg-laying mule-eared jackrabbit. Your role description wont matter you will do everything. People who are responsible often don't know so they make you responsible.

Gleichberechtigung

No body really speaks about this but I guess this is not all to good. Exeption would be:
If you do your job well but are a bit younger or not a certain time in company you wont get a promotion even if you are better that some people that are longer there and doing less. By this perspective you have to look for an easy job where you can just sitoff your time and then get promoted after five years of doing nothing.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

I try to treat every one with respect but if colleagues treat me less not depending of their age i will not really try to treat them well. I think this is a point that should come from both ends. Some older collegues are not so nice so they cannot expect preferred treatment.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Nowhere! Printing out paper like there is no tomorrow. Digitalisation nowhere. It stopped at some point in time. Previously we were Pall and this was really bad there already. Now cytiva i see no change at all. We get said that where are doing so much for Sustainablity but then we look at som supplystreams where we send out the Product from Dreieich to Belgium they send it back to us because we have to pach is sepparately then we send out 50 packages all with plastic and paper with more cost at the end. To send them back to Belgium only for them to send this to a customer in frankfurt. Where is now the sustainability coming from this. Nobody knows but we are so good.
We finally got trash separation in 2023 which is a small step for the company and a tiny step for humanity.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Not everything is god that shimmers. When still within pall they set a goal for us to reach and we reached it faster than expected. Normally this gets then listed in the Bonus system something like awarding the worker for their group engagement. This would then mean more money for the worker but the refreshed the goal so they had to spend not so much on the worker.

Other example nowdays is that you get rated on some values you can achieve by doing som personal goals. I well known system. They get then middled ind if you are lets say above 5 then you get extra ammenities ;)
Nowdays they just limited it at lets say 5 so guess who is not getting anything more. Correct the people who are really engaged and really supportive or go an extra mile for satisfaction. They get nothing from it Motivation is horrible at the moment because of this. I think I will quit soon because of this because its depressing me so much.

Do you wish to work here I guess not.
Also there is no german 'Betriebrate' or so in Cytiva Germany opposite to Cytiva Europe because logically speaking the German part is not in Europe.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Na! You have to care for yourself. DBS are some tools but they are more a cult than anything.
An example there was a certain DBS tool they used to find out why People are potentially leaving. so they made something like a survey for this but you never ever heard something back. So I guess you learn the tools and get some contacts there but the rest is lacking.

Talent is rather lost than held. The company just uses contract workers to balance out your work. New talents are currently not really hired so I would suggest for real talents to look for something way better. Because our board thinks that by losing talent and saving workforce they can balance out the losses they have for the so called Sustainability and D&I you get bombarded with as it seems that it is everywhere present in Cytiva but not in Germany.
