Interesting company that has become a great employer!
Arbeitsatmosphäre
I have seen many other companies and been here for quite a while. I can honestly say that the atmosphere is quite collaborative and relaxed, especially when you compare it with other big law firms or multinationals. I always feel appreciated when I come up with good ideas.
Kommunikation
Way better than some years ago. New/young top management has set up a variety of measures to communicate and waterfall information as transparent as possible.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
I‘d say it depends on the team. In general it seems to be quite good, at least I can’t see or feel any real „politics“ going on in the mid and senior management.
Work-Life-Balance
Honestly, we had for 3 years straight now almost total autonomy how and where we wanted to work. No one really micromanaged and employees simply have been trusted that they‘ll do there jobs. Obviously as always, there are exceptions, e.g. front desk…
Vorgesetztenverhalten
I always get support from my peers and honestly, this might have pros and cons, but you can literally always approach a board member when you feel to do so and they won’t throw you out…
Interessante Aufgaben
This might definitely depend on your unit, but I‘ve learned that they are happy to try and find new opportunities for colleagues.
Gleichberechtigung
Company language is English so we have literally people from almost all cultures not just globally, also here in Munich.
I remember one figure from a company presentation that women quota is above 60%, so I‘d say diversity wise we are doing good.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
There are many older colleagues as well, some are really the center point in some departments.
Arbeitsbedingungen
As said, I had never better working conditions in my professional life.
I can do what I want, when and where I want, as long as I do my job right and on point.
But again, this might depend on your role and responsibilities.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
ESG has become a big topic for them, it seems that the shareholder is very passionate about sustainability.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
I mean Dennemeyer is neither an investment bank nor a tech unicorn, so salaries are ok, especially when you take into account that no one here should have regular +50h weeks.
Image
Could be better, but it has changed a lot. The marketing and employer branding department definitely had their stake in this.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Flat hierarchies, so career paths are naturally limited. Personally I prefer it that way. I don’t like those artificial career ladders with more than 20 completely irrelevant business titles that no one outside of such a company would really care.
Education programs are available and one can always discuss individual trainings etc.
