Arbeitsatmosphäre

I find the working atmosphere very pleasant. The company is quite open, collaboration and cooperation are encouraged. In this environment, it is essential to like to work across departmental boundaries. The company is relatively young, but complex, so openness is very important.

Kommunikation

Compared to previous companies I have worked for, communication is very important here. There is always an attempt to inform all employees comprehensively about the topics. However, this sometimes means that too much information is shared, information overflow. This needs to be better balanced.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

In quite a short time I have been able to build up some good trusting relationships. As in any company, there are colleagues who are easier to work with and colleagues who are more difficult. Nevertheless, so far I have only had good experiences for the most part. There is a positive atmosphere and everyone tries to help each other. Due to the growth and an expected fluctuation in a scale-up, there is always a relatively high influx of new colleagues.

Work-Life-Balance

It depends on the position and department, and when fixed timelines have to be met, it can be a lot. But I am firmly convinced that with clear agreements, clear roles and responsibilities, things can be improved. For me personally, it fits and I have had completely different experiences in other start-ups.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

On the one hand, I am assessing the relationship between me and my supervisor, which is impeccable. I can understand some of the general complaints about leadership in this company but i think it is important to also think about the situation we are in. The management has to steer a complex team with complex tasks in a growing market and bring it forward. That is highly demanding and it also leads to the fact that not everything always runs 100% smoothly. There is no simple blueprint and you notice here and there that the leadership is struggling to find the answers. On the middle management level we have quite a lot of inexperienced leaders but the company is investing heavily in a leadership journey to improve there.

Interessante Aufgaben

It's a growth market and we're in the scaling phase, it's incredibly varied and you have to be up for it and you have to know what you're getting into. Not all the processes are in place or flawless here, but we are working on developing those processes right now. It's very exciting, but also demanding, and you have to be willing to put your heart and soul into it.

Gleichberechtigung

Diversity in the company is present and encouraged, but few women in leadership positions.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Talent or experience beats the birth certificate.

Details can always be improved, but overall totally fine.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

In none of my previous companies was there so much discussion about sustainability. Can it be improved, certainly, but overall the company takes it very seriously and there is a very vocal part of the staff that demands and support it.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Certainly depending on position, role and department. I compare this with other companies I have worked for and the salaries here are higher across the board and above the average. Not only for me but also for the team i am responsible.

E-mobility is a growth market and an exciting environment.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Certainly depending on the area you work in how big your career chances are, but the company gives each employee a development budget, there are performance talks and career plans are discussed. The company is very committed to this and to improve this even further. Also i strongly believe that with the right attitude, commitment and work there are a lot of opportunities.
