Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

I liked my colleagues and the money, but once I had enough, I had no reason to stay :)

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

This may sound dramatic, but DR SMILE was the worst company I ever worked at. You will only understand how bad it is when you worked there yourself. There are so many stories that are unbelievable to every other person. So to be honest, I probably find everything bad except my colleagues and the money.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

The biggest problem DR SMILE needs to fix is that they keep hiring people who talk a lot but are unable to back their big words up. Those people are put in leading positions, causing people who actually bring skills to the table to leave the company. It's very easy to figure out these poor leads, just listen to the employees and take them serious.
Also, they should stop forcing people to go back to the office and work on the reasons why they don't trust employees to do their work at home.
And last point: the budget of 20€ per person per quarter was cut for team event, I think it's about time to bring this back some day

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Management thinks pressure makes diamonds, so whatever you do, it's never good enough. If you manage to make the impossible possible, instead of saying thanks, they will ask you do now perform even better. lol

Kommunikation

You'll get updated on the general stuff that is going on in the company, but most communication that influences your work is purely chaotic. Someone important decides something, doesn't inform the other important people, then they wonder why things are not getting done to their liking. I only gave two stars because within some teams the communication is amazing, but it truly depends on which team you are in.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

It was better in the past. Nowadays, a lot of people were hired that put themselves before others. Yikes!

Work-Life-Balance

Two starts because depending on who you are and what team you belong to, it's fine to take your holidays whenever. But it is also normal to be called during maternity leave or during your holidays, and you can be asked to work, when you hold an important position.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

This one really depends again on the team you are in. I switched supervisors during my time here. One of the best I ever had, but since this one left the next one is working against their own team members simply because of their own insecurities.

Interessante Aufgaben

It used to be interesting, but with the growing number of insecure leaders who miss a good vision, your innovative ideas will be shut down quickly. At the end, in Marketing, it's all about growing leads for the smallest costs, so there is no space for cool projects.

Gleichberechtigung

2021 it was balanced better, but over the years there are barely any women in higher positions. There are some female Team Leads, but all higher positions are run by men. Also, my colleague was promised a promotion with a higher salary due to good performance – only for HR to thinking about ways to take that back when they heard she is pregnant.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

There are no older colleagues, so I rate this in the middle.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The Laptops are good, the office is not. No space to properly have lunch, way too little meeting rooms (the nicest one is only for higher management). Still they want to force you to come to the office. Good luck focussing while listening to the sales and customer support team being on the phone the entire day.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

DR SMILE sells plastic aligners, so no, it's not good for the environment. However, within the office the office managers take good care of the topic.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

When you are able to sell yourself well, you can make bank when you start. Later on it will be extremely hard to negotiate a raise, as at DR SMILE they try to save every euro possible. Luckily for me, I joined with 10k higher compared to colleagues on similar positions which is the only reason I pushed through so many years :)

Oh no, the image is terrible online. People understood that aligner treatments are bad and there are a lot of videos or articles out there how the patients are only being helped until they sign the contract.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Again, it depends who you are: Some people are being really pushed by joining workshops that are truly high quality, others are forced to be stuck no matter how well they improve their skills on their own.
