Really poor ,as they don't communicate with employee at all .Also during layoff also they don't give single indication before ending your 2 years contract or probation period which cause a lot of stress to all employee
I did not wish to write this review but a recent misleading , misguided review of an employee who wrote he receives 70000 euros a year. The truth is that I received approximately the same just like almost every one in the company. It doesnt matter whether you have a 15 year experience or a 2 year experience you get 70k a year. Sounds good right? So why am I complaining? Because of the way the number 70k is defined. What was not mentioned is that 23 percent of 70k is a discretionary "bonus" of which most employees (I personally know atleast 16 developers who disclosed me how much bonus they received) . This means that irrespective of whether you have 2 years of experience or 15 years of experience you earn somewhere between 48k to 58k which is way below the market even for German standards

There are a lot of advantages at ECT that are valuable for me and many other colleagues I talked to.
I work as a developer.
During the recruitment process, I had to do a technical test.
Offices are cleaned every day (I think so, as my trash is empty every morning) , are not so outdated, and don't get a bad smell, as mentioned in a previous rating.
Talking with my private friends also working in Munich for similar positions, I cannot complain, and what I earn here is more than fair.
Having more internal communication meetings and product presentations
We work 8 hours per day in the office from Monday to Thursday.
FREE: breakfast, drinks, English and German lessons, lunch.
I think ECT is in a small market and therefore not known from everyone
There are only defined hours where you have to be in the office during the day, you can manage your time accordingly. 4-day work week is great.

Gehalt unter dem Markt. Das 13. Gehalt füllt nur das Elendsgehalt auf. Jeder zweite Mitarbeiter kommt aus Indien. Wie jemand bereits sagte: Sie nutzen nur die Menschen aus, die unbedingt umsiedeln möchten
Nichts könnte diese Jungs ändern. Sie brauchen ein paar junge CTOs oder eine komplette Umstrukturierung
niemals werden sie die Gehälter erhöhen
Sie haben kein Vertrauen in die Mitarbeiter und überprüfen ständig Ihre Uhren und Zeitstempel
Alte Büros, sehr schmutzig und niemand putzt jemals die Tische. Riecht sehr schlecht

Disgusting cheap food, very bad wages, 6 month probation, 0- max 5 percent salary hike in 2 years. Sub 50k salaries for most developers
30 percent employees left because of extrmly less salary well below the market despite . 4 day policy introduced only to fool employees into taking low wage and not leave until their product is ready. also the 6 month notice period to make it impossible for the employees to leave. The company has so fear that the new employees leave that they are now hiring developers with no probation and 6 month notice. Condition so bad that 80 percent of frontend team quit including the architect.
Many international employees working because its a lot easier hire desperate Indian, Pakistani, Iranian, South American people on less money for two years and then hire them directly from their countries .Almost no Germans(less than 10 percent) because compny cannot afford to pay them.
They pay senior developers 2k more than junior developers exploiting the fact that we want to move to Germany. 4 day work week is being used to not hike salaries which are atleast 60 upto 80 percent below the average SDE Munich wage. 45k-50k for senior develoeprs is the norm. The bonus is a myth.
Clear communication that there are almost no salary hikes after 2 years work. Accept the low salary or leabe ECT.
The work environment, colleagues from different countries/cultures, interesting projects (Low Code Platform development), free breakfast/lunch/drinks, free English/German classes, 13-months salary, company bonus and the best one: 4-day workweek (100% salary, 30 days vacation, 32 hours work) !!!

It is always possible to request for an external training/class on a topic which is in the area you are working at. MBAs were financed to some colleagues. Growth inside the company is possible, some employees started at a lower level and reached management positions.
The overall package is more than fair.

Nothing to complain about management (direct or top level management).
Squad meetings are held and also regular meetings are with upper management to discuss our day-to-day work, improvements/suggestions. Company informatoin (sales, strategy, etc.) are also presented during this meetings. Company updates are also shared from the marketing team
More and more women joined the company in the last years and I do not see any differentiation.

If we could use more modern stack in our technologies , it would be lovely. I would appreciate if we could get occasional work from home too . But to be honest after returning after a long work from home period , I am thoroughly enjoying the human interaction which was something I really missed in the last months

I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and I have a really grown as a developer in the last 1 year that I worked at ECT. Without engaging in hyperbole i would like to say that I have learned more at ECT in 1 year than I could have learned in 3 years in mu last job as a Fullstack Developer. Excellent opportunities for self development with the possibility to order expensive books paid for by the company.
Base Salaries are fair and are topped up with the possibility of a 23 percent bonus. And with the 32 hour work week , it is just perfect
Most of the colleagues are young and under 40 so we have a very young and dynamic atmosphere at work
The superiors were super kind to me . I always felt that I was a part of the team. They encouraged me to try out my ideas and challenge the status quo. I found my direct supervisor, the Deputy CTO of the company brilliant from a technical standpoint and always giving me great advise and I believe that I am a much better developer than I was when I joined.
4 day work baby! We asked for home office and they gave us something beyond our wildest imagination. I see myself and my colleagues super motivated to work hard Monday-Thursday and let our hair down and enjoy time with our families in the extended weekend .
I worked directly under the CTO who has over 15 years of experience and he was very precise and I had no communication problems. Precisely concocted Jira tickets were specially helpful in the beginning when I was unfamiliar with the codebase. Moreover I always could ask any questions without being judged.
Implementing the backend of the Low code application platform has been super interesting. The tasks were challenging and non routine and always kept me excited so far
