Arbeitsatmosphäre
Small company of around 80 people and there is a lot of trust between management and the employees. All ideas are heard no matter where they come from. There is no politics involved and personal career growth is fully supported with people switching roles within company depending on career goals and opportunities.
But Freeeltics being a startup company, it comes with the negative of focus on short term goals to reach profitability, gather investments, etc. This means the priorities can change rather quickly. There is a vision of the long term future but it is always balanced with the short term goals.
Kommunikation
Flat heirarchy in the company and no-blame culture. Employees are encouraged to reach out to the management and clarify questions/concerns/suggestions in case if you have any.e.g. Ask me anything sessions. CEO regularly updates about the company's progress towards its goals and provides information on the strategy.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
People are Freeletics are very passionate about fitness. They also genuinely support each other at work. Teams are of around 5 to 10 people max. People are encouraged to gather feedback and develop their professional side.
Work-Life-Balance
There are regular social activities organised by colleagues and Hr team. If you are interested to host a poarty, the HR team provides you a budget and you can organise a party yourself which I find very cool.
On the other hand, with Freeletics being startup phase, the work is very fast paced and people are expected to deliver in short timeframes. This sometimes put pressure on the teams and causes distress.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
I had many managers at Freeletics and all of them were very supportive personally and professionally. Targets for promotions, compensations were always clear and transparent. Rarely faced conflicts at the company. In such cases, people were asked to resolve it directly with the person involved. If it was a bigger issue then the HR team and manager were helping out.
Interessante Aufgaben
Depends on the team you work with. Since it is flat heirarcy, the work is always hands-on. There is lots of ínteresting work to do and you can bring up ideas to work on. However, there are also situations were the work can become repetitive if you are not proactive

Top office setup. A lot of meeting rooms, height adjustable desks and comfortable chairs. Very new office.

Done in many small ways. Focus on sustainable food at the office is one example. Cooking at office also encouraged. Reusable dishes to take things out from a restaurant.

Freeletics is at market average with the salaries and constantly updates its databases to adapt to changing market.
