Kommunikation

If I had to pick the biggest deficit within the Group, it would be communication. In my opinion, the problem is not in dealing with each other (the interaction is always incredibly friendly), but in the fact that we are simply a large company with many personalities. This inevitably means that you are sometimes confronted with ways of working that simply don't correspond to your own, and so unfortunately it also happens that processes slow down. The most annoying thing here is when colleagues simply don't get back to you or forget to inform you about innovations concerning your own project, but you'll probably find that in any other company, too. In my experience, however, this is not the rule, which is why I still consider the general communication to be good.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The team spirit is one of the best I have ever experienced. I think there's only one other employer I've worked for where it was similar. People talk and joke with each other when they meet in the hallway. If something doesn't go as expected, they build you up and you have fun together in various activities that are not directly work-related. My personal highlights are the monthly employee events (such as a movie night, a crotch challenge, or collecting clothes for a good cause),team events and the regular office parties, which are always prepared and held with a lot of love.

Work-Life-Balance

I am absolutely satisfied. My work is my work and my free time remains my free time. Even with special projects, it has only happened twice in the almost one and a half years that I have been with the company that appointments with external people have taken place outside of my actual working hours, and the meetings I mentioned only took place so late because they were held intercontinental.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

In the meantime, I've had three different supervisors in two teams and I'm super happy. They trust me with things, let me work on my own responsibility, and through regular conversations with each other, both sides are up to date. I love that the general interaction is rather friendly. I particularly like the fact that I get the chance to incorporate my own ideas into my work, and that I have always had the support of my supervisor when it comes to implementing them, as well as being able to further develop the respective idea with them. Even with questions, there was always an open ear from the first person to my current supervisor. What I also find great is that mistakes are forgiven. No one is perfect, and in the most stressful situations it can happen that something doesn't go as planned. You should simply learn from your mistakes and make sure they don't happen again.

Interessante Aufgaben

I love my tasks because, of course, like everywhere else, I have to perform routine tasks in general, but I can also take care of my own projects. In the case of my favorite project, I was even able to take on responsibility at group level for the entire MGI after just over a year. I also really appreciate the fact that I work with a large part of the entire MGI across departments, so I get a much better feeling for the company as a whole.
What I also like are the changing external demands on my projects and occasional special tasks with some increased time pressure. Since I can largely freely divide up the time I spend working, it just never gets boring overall.

Arbeitsbedingungen

So far, they have accommodated all my requests, such as switching to a remote contract or helping me with my training. My work tools were available from second 1 and in case of problems with the hardware I always get the appropriate support from our IT team within one day.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

I think it's great that gamigo informs its users about sustainable issues through monthly promotions within its games and raises money for a good cause by selling skin-packages (Eden Reforestation project).

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

The salary I received in my first position at the company was definitely commensurate with my level of education, the field of activity as well as my professional experience. After moving to my current position, I consider my salary to be slightly above average for my age and related work experience.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

The company supports me in any plans I have and together we try to find a suitable solution for any potential problems that may arise. Above all, I appreciate the training budget that is available for every employee, so that everyone can do something for their personal development on an equal footing.
