The only dislike is the low salary as a customer service agent. The rest I was happy about it.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Maybe stop working with freelance customer service agents completely, and divert the salary for those freelancers to on-site customer service reps.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

On my day 1, my boss did an office tour for me and told me that his team is very outgoing and it is a nice group of friends -- that was a truth, my team hung out often outside of the work. I felt in love with the office on my first day. I miss all the funny memes and messages in the communal Slack channel.

Transparent, nice, open-minded

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Everything worked very well. In the event of massive bugs, other teams helped mine to finish the task so everyone wouldn't need to do overtime and vice versa.

Work-Life-Balance

There are a couple of colleagues with kids to take care of, so the company offers them very flexible work schedules. They held even family events where there was an interesting and exciting workshop for families with little ones.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Once someone from the other team was unhappy with my performance and she openly criticised about it. The upper management protected me and they never questioned me about her complaints. Instead, they decided to hire a new employee that could fil the skill gaps and they changed my tasks accordingly. I think that was the fair and best solution for this situation.

Interessante Aufgaben

My team was a customer service department, but there were some interesting tasks outside of our responsibility. If we ran out customer inquiries to answer, we were allowed to help other departments like QA or Marketing.

I think everyone has equality in careers at Goodgame Studios.

I haven't seen any old colleagues, but if there were one I think Goodgame would be a good place for anyone to work

My boss encouraged all to keep our office clean even though a cleaner comes several times a week.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

As we used a lot of screenshots and videos to get the work done, we haven't wasted a lot of papers. I think it's a greener office.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

As a Customer Service, the remuneration wasn't good and it just lets you live in Hamburg. But I know other departments offer better salaries (like developers or project management) so don't think that Goodgame Studios is a poor company.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There was an internal job board where you can apply for a position outside of your current department. I saw one customer service colleague got offered a QA role, so career development is totally possible at Goodgame Studios. If you are good enough, the company rewards you fairly.
