If you're looking for a "traditional" company with established structures, processes, hierarchies, and a monotonous job, this is not your place :-)

Verbesserungsvorschläge

As the company has been growing a lot, I hope they will be able to keep up the spirit and the positive work environment. Clearer processes and structures could help here and there. On the other hand, I feel that this is normal for scale-ups like Holidu and it also comes with certain benefits like being adaptive and acting fast.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Great, diverse team, flat hierarchies with very approachable leadership team, a lot of opportunities to grow and take over responsibility from the beginning in a fast-paced environment.

Kommunikation

Communication is very transparent. There is a bi-weekly meeting the whole company participates in, where updates, numbers etc. are presented and questions from employees are addressed. The founders and teams also share updates, kudos and achievements regularly on Slack. When Slack noise became too high in a department recently, actions were taken to bundle information and updates better in a different format.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

I truly enjoy going to the office as all my colleagues are very friendly, support each other a lot and visibly enjoy spending time with each other across levels and teams/departments. "We win as a team" is one of the company values and it is truly lived.

Work-Life-Balance

Like other scale-ups, we often operate with limited team and time resources, so I wouldn't say that I ever have too little to do. Still, there is encouragement and different initiatives from the company to foster work-life balance and increase awareness about mental health etc. Employees can also choose to work 90% and take additional unpaid vacation days.

Conversations are held at eye level and with respect, ideas are considered from anyone in the company and context is shared continuously to enable individuals to excel at their job.

Interessante Aufgaben

Due to the constant growth of the company, no week or quarter feels like another, which is why there are always many interesting and also challenging projects to work on. I really feel like I can have an impact with my work.

Gleichberechtigung

I have never witnessed or heard of a case of discrimination! There have been different initiatives regarding diversity and inclusion in the company lately, and the founders also position themselves very openly against discrimination.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Since it is quite a young company, there are not too many older colleagues but the ones I know are fully integrated into the team.
