What is advertised in the interviews does not correspond to the facts.
No salary increases during the year, only with promotions. Criterias for promotions are very intransparent.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Stop fighting people for their bonuses.
Change something about the management of the company. It feels like there is not the slightest thought of the consequences. You expect more and more without giving anything back.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Its fine, they try to make everything a party, which is hard to assume in the current mood. Still, it's a nice try. People are overall very friendly and happy to help. Hybrid working is possible and very much appreciated.

A lot of information, little action. Criticism is not taken kindly.

It's ok.

One or the other sits in positions that definitely do not correspond to the expected competences. Some managers are completely out of their depth.

There is constant restructuring, so that one is more occupied with troubleshooting due to these restructurings instead of with the actual work.

Flexible working is possible. Work-Life Balance is ok.

Claims to be sustainable but is not really.

Bonus structures are a joke, benefits are almost non-existent, especially now after the lay-offs.

Ok image but uncertain future, a great deal of trust in the company has been lost through the redundancies.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Hardly any further training opportunities, promotions only happen once a year and are based on performance reviews. The motto there seems to be "as long as it says something", these are in no way meaningful about the actual state of affairs. The people in charge don't spend much time on them.

We appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback. While we are happy to hear that you are enjoying the work environment and work-life balance at Holidu, we will have a close look at your points of improvement.

At the same time, there are some topics that we would like to address. It is true that there are no salary increases during the year unless for promotions for urgent roles, and this is also openly communicated. We do annual performance reviews on the basis of which individual salaries are adjusted once per year (also without a promotion), and we also have tangible, in-depth criteria when it comes to promotions, which you can find in our internal Confluence documentation accessible for all employees. Our people managers and HR spend an extensive amount of time each year reviewing, calibrating and discussing those reviews in order to ensure fairness and transparency.
Similarly, we also have clear guidelines and expectations regarding our bonus structures; the goals are set in advance, communicated clearly to the respective employees and calculated equally across the same function.
