Some colleagues (I have no idea who they are) are sitting stupidly hunched over their laptops and can't get their teeth apart. You feel like an absolutely uninvited guest.

The supervisors are premium micromanagers. They want to know everything. Everything has to be documented and discussed in countless virtual meetings. Unfortunately there is no more time for the relevant topics.
Absolutely non-transparent processes, controlled by young, dynamic, incompetent superiors who have no manners and do not know the basic rules of interpersonal interaction and who feel responsible for nothing other than their own careers.
Here, every process, no matter how ridiculous, has its own internal company guidelines. Unfortunately, you are not informed about these in advance and therefore cannot follow them. So you do everything wrong and then you are told afterwards that there are precise guidelines that you then have to study, like a school child.
It would have been the job of a superior to clarify this in advance. The managers also do not feel responsible for onboarding. The newcomer is given a laptop with tons of unknown programs and sent home. There is a separate program for everything. There is no explanation or introduction for this. Completely impossible behavior. When you ask questions, they either aren't answered at all, which is the positive option, or you get the wrong answer.
When you come to the office for the first time as a newcomer, you are not introduced to anyone. You are not involved or instructed in anything.

The best thing you can do is to leave or decline their job offer.

Culture…. They have no idea what is a culture. Transport ticket and a gym allowance is not a culture.

Since more and more people are getting terminated, junior or mid level colleagues have to take over the tasks of the terminated managers
Sure, you can make a carrier if you become a pet of the management and will agree with them. If you want to grow as a professional and have your own professional opinion, you will be most likely fired.
They offer competitive salaries. However don’t be so happy. Later you will be the first candidate to get fired due to “economic reasons”

Depends on the team.
No feedback culture. The managers have poor management experience and skills.
The CEO does not have management knowledge or leadership skills. Most of his decisions are just random and make no sense

- Micromanagement is strong, your manager would always have to know what project you work on with your team;
- You never know when your last working day in Kaia can be, because today they might benefit of having your onboard but tomorrow it may change (read through other reviews about a "perfect storm" of RIFs in 2022);
- Only a few people visit the office on a regular basis which is another proof of poor communication, people don't feel like to see each other (although the office is in the nice location and looks great inside);
- Many loud words about startup mindset and whatsoever, at the same time people get laid off and C-management keeps saying "just trust me";
- Zero career opportunities: you will be asked to match your competencies against a certain list of definitions that is written in a very abstract form and can always prove you're not good enough;
- They do appreciate you talking over you working;
Spend some money on educational courses for the management department.
You will not have a chance to work with your colleagues directly since you're about to be micromanaged
The company needs better management
Toxic working enviroment. Because of big management issues the employees are not motivated at all. Trust is missing.
Layoffs with no communication beforehand. Employees are not valued.

- In meetings, there is always focus on finding bad things. Sick environment in team meetings.
- Management is very bad, specially during on-boarding time.
- You are expected to pointlessly talk and show off. Even if there is no need at all and clarity on things is there.
- A lot of unnecessary meetings are scheduled and you are bored to death.
Since there are no funds available, please stop lying during hiring process and don't waste others time.

Manchmal sind die Meetingräume knapp oder wieder keine Kaffeetasse zu finden, aber insgesamt sehr sympathisch.
