The first thing I have to say is that I am very happy to get the job because it opens up a new chapter in my self-expression in Germany.
This is a Japanese company in Germany with an office language in English. From this point you may have felt the diversity of this company. I went through two interviews before I finally got the job. The first interview lasted about 45 minutes, of which about 90% were answered in English, 7% in German, and only 3% in Japanese. The second interview lasted about 60 minutes. This time is a little bit different from the first interview. The time to answer in Japanese is mainly 90%, and the English and German together combined is 10% instead.
Kommunikation
By the way I am Chinese, the above three languages are not my native language, so I was a bit nervous in the beginning of the interview. There was a small talk before the officinal one. It made everything easier and relaxed. During the interview the three interviewers tested my flexible use of the above three languages from different perspectives. Because I am going to work as an administration in the office, my future boss, Mr.MD, he asked me in detail about any of the details on my resume. Not only that, he also set up some scenarios to examine my ability to respond, the communication skills, attitudes toward work and views on the company system and superior management.
In retrospect, I made a list of all the questions which was asked. Then I found that most of the problems were similar or identical to the ones listed in the Japanese human resources management related website. From this point, we can also see the company’s attention to the candidates. The degree is very high and they are also trying to be as professional as possible.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Last but not the least, I am very grateful to my future boss and supervisor. It is a great honor to be hired as a member of this company, and I also think this is a very wise decision. It shows the passion in a full compliance with the new vane of talent recruitment under the globalization trend, and it also provides better opportunities and excellent possibilities for more candidates.
