Management use fear tactics, communication needs serious improvement, parents are not given what they signed up for.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Many staff members in leadership are unqualified. The CEO’s husband is in charge of projects and class trips and doesn’t know many legal requirements for such things and ignores them. Leadership yell at staff, and they fire people and have them escorted out of the building.

Listen and trust the educators you hire. Learn from your mistakes and prioritise clear processes and communication.

The staff are kind and helpful. You can see they are trying to get through the chaos together.

Incredibly weak communication from management and an inability to hear constructive criticism.

It’s hard to be on the same page when communication is extremely inconsistent, but the effort is there.

I was told in my interview I would have a work/life balance only to be made to work on-site during the evenings and on weekends to attend work events.

Firing people and having them escorted out of the building, lying in interview process, chaotic and unorganised. The bottom dollar is all that seems to matter here.

Many of the tasks teachers do here and administrational. We waste a lot of time completely tasks that should have a streamlined process.
Gleichberechtigung
Management play favourites with students and staff. Watching some students receive special treatment and gifts from management staff is bizarre to see in an educational institution.

Outdated technology, very little in terms of resources for teachers of “regular” subjects. For a digital school, the internet and ICT resources are incredibly weak and outdated.

Zero programmes for LGBT, or other social issues. The GEWI program lacks any social and political awareness education.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
The pay is good but not worth the headache.

The image the school creates and what is actually happening is completely misaligned.

I was never given an induction to the schools “unique concept” and very little guidance was given to new staff to the school and to the profession.
