Very young and fun team! Thankfully very international, despite having German founders (not as common as you would think, not to feel excluded as a non-native German speaker)

Not a corporate lifestyle, as one of the edges is "being able to build & test things faster than big player like Duolingo", but more and more emphasis is being placed on a sustainable work-life balance.
Interessante Aufgaben
I find it insane to be brainstorming with a designer on an idea on Thursday, developing it by Monday & testing it on millions of students by Wednesday. So cool!!

Average age is very young. Had a few more senior hire though recently, which has been great to see

The social impact is my personal favourite. Honestly just have a look at the app store reviews in Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the UK or US. Pretty insane

Feel like all VCs know about us, and hype us up, as do our teenage users, but very few of my friends actually know about us. Often need to repeat the name and what the company does.
Employer branding still needs some work (but that might change as millions of students enter the workforce, which know & love us from their A-levels?)
