Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Love the IT setup. You can sit down anywhere, connect to the Wi-Fi and plug in your monitor.
Meeting rooms are working perfectly, all with Airplay and meeting room tablets.
Love the new arena for the 2-weekly review meetings.
Not much cabling and effort to start working. Excellent IT management here.
Some traditions are very nice (like ringing the bell for new customers) and i like the feedback culture a lot. Always something to drink/eat, great office and a lot of partys makes employees feel comfortable.
Love that you can bring your dogs, unfortunately there's only one now, we need more!

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Management team is focused on sales a lot. Revenue and new customers are priority number one and you can feel that everywhere.
The way they drop some employees is very strict.
Basic IT setup is too basic, there must be some more room to play with.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

I'd focus on a couple things.
- More activities within the office, which are not work-related. e.g. Table soccer
- More teambuilding for the whole company - also across different teams
- Invest more into tools that make employee's lifes easier
- Work on employees working environment to be optimal, instead of focusing on sales, sales, sales
- Seating in the review area is a huge pain if you have to sit there more than 1 hour

Arbeitsatmosphäre

A lot of positive, direct feedback is given. Employees are enjoying their work.

Kommunikation

2-Weekly review meeting crossover all offices with a large management and product update. Sometimes too much, but enough internal communication is given.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

One of the smaller problems. Employees usually don't go out together that often, missing internal teambuilding events. You cannot avoid some gossip here. But everyone likes to help each other. No matter if it's IT/HR/Product support, everyone works great here.

Work-Life-Balance

Very flexible working hours. Homeoffice can be taken if needed. Depends on where you work, sometimes you stay 9-10 hours a day, but on the other hand you can go home earlier if needed. All good here.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Goals are very ambitious. Teamleader expects a lot from you, but he gives you the chance to do your work as you can and helps you in case of problems. From a lot perspectives, this works good overall. But seen a lot of other teamleaders with different (better and worse) behaviour towards their employees. Yes, some of them also exist here.

Interessante Aufgaben

Prioritys are set by the management team. This works great for the product, but sometimes you just wanna work on different things, because they are bothering you. Optimize active tools instead of building a new feature would be a great example of how i would improve here. Nevertheless, there are a lot of interesting topics to work on.

Gleichberechtigung

Cannot say much here, but top-management team is full of men. Also, i heared from other teams that employees who are doing the same job are having a huge gap in between their loan.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Love the stickers employees get for staying longer at a company. Has some kind of "gamification" with achievements.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Everyone gets the same setup. Mac with 8 or 16GB memory. Only designers are treated special. Some others could also use stronger systems, but management ignores that. On the same side, you're not allowed to optimize your working system, cause you have to work on features instead. Offices are great.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Sometimes a bit too much here. Love the yearly "social day" where the whole company can help out for one day a year for charity. Company gives out free job-ticket to come by train, but cardrivers have to pay for a parking slot.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

I'd say 90% of the company is happy with their salary. Heared a lot of good things from different people, but of course not everyone is totally satisfied. Specially not if you're at leanIX for >2yrs, without promotion.

Image

Even tho it's "only a SaaS-company", employees would always say that leanIX is a great place to work. A lot of benefits are provided here, so i can totally agree with that.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Seen a lot of promotions during the last months. So from the first perspective, this is looking very well.
