Significant decline over the last two years
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Overall a very nice atmosphere. It's fun working in the team while still having plenty of time to get things done - and having the freedom to also explore other areas and own ideas.
Kommunikation
Got worse over time. Regular company updates have been replaced with meaningless Q&A sessions where only harmless questions are being answered. In addition, every team now gives updates on their own, which is much more time consuming than the previous approach.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
One of the biggest upsides of working at Lillydoo. Managers stand by their team members and very much support and push new ideas and initiatives. In addition, it's a lot of fun working together with colleagues. Very supportive and respectful without turning into a "work only" atmosphere.
Work-Life-Balance
The second big upside of working at Lillydoo. Remote first and very flexible working hours.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
As already mentioned above, managers stand by their team members. On this level, communication is always very objective and fair. Positive feedback and praise are given more or less regularly and it's a very trusting atmosphere.
Interessante Aufgaben
I get to do what I like and I'm also supported in tapping into other areas, if I wanted to.
Gleichberechtigung
As far as I'm aware, everyone is given the same opportunities, no matter their gender.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
As far as I'm aware, elderly colleagues have the same opportunities as everyone else.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Everyone is given the equipment they need, also for remote working. The office is modern and offers everything one might need.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
That's something that kind of fell behind in the last couple of years. Sustainability hardly plays a role anymore. Company trips by plane make it less credible, anyway. Currently, some new charity approach is trying to be pushed, but for companies, it's obviously also about reducing their tax liability.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Payment is too low. Looking at two years of inflation in the double digits, at times, Lillydoo really fell behind. Especially considering the mass layoffs of early 2023, which resulted in more responsibility and higher workload. This hasn't been accounted for in salary.
Additionally, the inflation compensation premium, which was announced for 2024, is not worth mentioning at all. Especially considering that the government allowed for up to 6.000 € to be paid tax-free in 2022 and 2023, which Lillydoo completely ignored.
Instead of wasting money on company trips and team workations, it should be put to better use...
Image
The image very much suffered from mass layoffs in early 2023, and to some extent, rightly so. In my opinion, it's not as bad, though, as described in other reviews.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Training only happens on your own. You get a (very) small budget you can make use of, but that's it.
