The best example of how not to run a business
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Working in Bali close to the beach was nice. Nice colleagues.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Very selfish and exploiting.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Less hours and better work-life balance are proven to increase productivity. (not the other way around).
Arbeitsatmosphäre
I experienced secretiveness and rumors about individual work related situations. eg. "Don't let your colleagues know about..."
Kommunikation
Very bad communication across teams. All hands team meeting roughly once a year when absolutely necessary. (also: Construction site right in front of the office for 2 years was so loud you sometimes couldn't have a proper conversation haha. Nice office though.)
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Nice colleagues who also meet outside of work.
Work-Life-Balance
Work came first, no matter what. Burnouts were part of the deal. Over hours were expected. Colleagues quitting because of that. 10 days home office allowance per year. 25 holidays. I was free to choose my work schedule but I had difficulties to live my life while being 10 hours at the office every day during the week.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
It was very hard to pass on constructive criticism. Usually it was not accepted and I was told to be too inexperienced to have a saying. No interest in your well being / health.
Interessante Aufgaben
Lots of freedom for creativity. (when finding the time for it)
Gleichberechtigung
Everyone was being treated the same
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Young team. Long-serving and loyal employees quit during my time at LUEX because of mistreatment.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Had to work on my private laptop. Construction site right in front of the office for 2 years was so loud you sometimes couldn't have a proper conversation. Nice office though.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
There was no action or even awareness for social or environmental issues.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Minimum.
Image
Sexy from the outside, rotten from the inside.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
This was my first job after uni and I did what I was being told to do without any external perspective of growth or development.
