- to limit communication channels to video calls and chat channels does not help to improve communication and team build
- not tracking if people are doing home office or are in the office, especially with hot desking, does not improve direct communication
- create a working space where people want to work in the office and don‘t feel like they work in a call center. So people might actually want to work in the office instead of doing home office. (A fancy kitchen and outdoor lounge does not help if the actual workspace is the complete opposite).
- build focus groups with members of every department to build, improve and implement processes and interfaces to connect systems (you could probably reduce the work force by half if proper systems and processes were implemented)
- and last but not least start realizing that you are no longer a start-up. Processes, systems and working spaces might have worked when you where only a handful of people. But that is no longer the case and hasn‘t been for years now.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
No communication, everybody is hiding behind the monitors and dreading to be in the office. That‘s why everybody is doing home office most of the time.
Kommunikation
Weekly team meetings, but other then that hardly any direct communication. The only communication Channels are MS Teams and Chat, since there are no phones in the office and they only hand out mobile phones to team leads and higher.
Work-Life-Balance
Next to no one starts before 9 AM and you geht weird looks if you leave before 6 PM, although you are already in overdue. They have no time tracking system.

No clear communication, it‘s as chaotic as the tasks and processes themselves
Arbeitsbedingungen
Open office and hot desking, with no system. You just search for a free desk in the morning.
If you want to speak to someone face-to-face, you don‘t know where or if they even are in office.
The desk are super small, only one monitor and your laptop will fit on them. And since the desks are arranged in rows you constantly need to keep your ellbows in, otherwise you will touch the people sitting next to you.
There are no privacy covers on the desks.
