Schlechtes Management, teilweise keine Ahnung/Erfahrung worüber man redet. Völliges Desinteresse an Mitarbeitern. Interne Kämpfe und endlose Diskussionen.
ist ok.
Mit Abstand das Einzige und Beste bei Norton.

Welche Kommunikation?
There is an international environment where you meet people from all over the world, the technical equipment is really good and colleagues are always ready to help if needed.
Salary, supervisor behaviour, staff turnover, lack of transparency and development opportunities.
Fair pay, respectful treatment of employees and more transparency would be the least we could do.
Involving employees more, job security and clear announcements of where the journey is going would be an important start.
Stress, insecurity and bosses who don't care about employees, I think I know where my burnout came from.
Not great, not terrible. guess that's the same as everywhere else.
The building was built in a climate-friendly way, there is hardly any waste of paper and in my opinion a lot is done to do a good job here.
I have had hardly any relevant training within five years, there is little to no development option.
The colleagues are great and by far the best in the company. Unfortunately, there is a high turnover, so it's better not to get too attached to your colleagues.
I have no idea what my supervisors actually do, in many cases not even who they are, but I know that we as employees are human material and at the end of the day it's all about numbers.
Work compression, a toxic atmosphere, little security and transparency, I cannot recommend.
Intransparency is a huge issue, little information is provided and changes are only noticed when they are implemented.
The salary is below average and the salary increases are a bad joke. Money is certainly not an argument to work here.
Depends on whether your supervisor likes you.
I am doing the same tasks since years, over and over.
my colleagues, they are really great, and I enjoy working with them. Other than that I cannot say anything positive.
Salaries and Communication!!!
Improve the overall communication, pay competitive salaries for all positions, appreciate & value all employees, not only developers and managers. Offer home office support in form of a monthly/quarterly bonus.
colleagues in Germany are really nice and very helpful. They are eager to move things forward. Colleagues in the US or India are the opposite, very political, always blocking, not sharing information. There are of course exceptions. Overall the work environment is OK-ish, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to join.
the company is surviving because of it's past image, but it's not what it once was.
2 stars because during the pandemic we are allowed to work from home. But the colleagues/managers in the US are disregarding the different time zones, and they schedule late meetings.
sometimes they have some campaigns, but they are mostly only for US.
no chance of advancing. everything is super political, and if one wants to advance they have to get really dirty and "cut the chair" from under some other managers. I see no prospects here.
my colleagues in germany are great. very helpful, even in stressful situations. communication with them is always very good and professional.
depends from team to team. in my case I was lucky with an OK supervisor.
with the pandemic we work from home. the company doesn't support this setup in any way: no monthly or even yearly home office bonus, nothing. The 2 stars are because at least we are allowed to work from home.
team internal communication is fine. corporate communication, especially with the US HQ is a joke - very unprofessional. there are monthly meetings and some emails flying around, but the content is useless.
I started here many years ago with a normal salary, nothing out of the ordinary. In the last 5 years I only got 1 salary raise and I had to beg for it... However, they are very much engineering oriented, and if you are in an engineering position money is not an issue. all other positions in Germany have the same issue: very low salaries and talks about raises are blocked. Bonuses and other benefits are out of the question.
the projects and the tasks have so much potential, but because of the entire corporate toxic mood they are in the background, and most people fight political wars. I feel not much gets really done.
Die Kommunikation könnte besser sein
