Recent layoffs targeting parents
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Personio claims to be a leader in HR technology, yet its recent actions are far from leading in human values. In a move to cut costs in 2025 and aim for profitability someday, the company laid off 115 employees, including a shocking number of parents, many of whom are mothers on parental leave with infants or young children (at least 10% of those 115). These mothers, not even on the payroll during their leave, were clearly seen as disposable. Fathers with small children were also disproportionately impacted, raising serious concerns about the company’s ethics and commitment to supporting families.
This blatant disregard for employee welfare, especially targeting parents in vulnerable situations, speaks volumes about where Personio's priorities lie. It seems that "unlocking the power of people" only applies when it’s profitable for the company. With such short-sighted and morally questionable strategies, Personio risks not only losing its credibility but heading toward insolvency rather than the break-even point it so desperately seeks.
Think twice before trusting a company that preaches HR values but fails to embody them.
