Disrespect for the labor laws, intransparency, no actual will to listen to the feedback.
- Separate HO role from the role of CEO since there is a clear conflict of interests.
- Give feedback in order to help people to improve, not as an evidence for their incompetence or as a tool of office politics.
- Make sure that everyone gets the same treatment and benefits, work actively against scapegoating the individuals.
- Make sure that rules are being transparently communicated and not changed along the way.
- Make sure to listen to the feedback of your employees from different teams and take steps towards improvement.
- Stop fueling unhealthy competition among the employees and invest into supporting cooperation and teamwork.
- Make sure to honor the rights and protections of your employees granted to them by German laws.
The company culture is toxic, with favoritism from the side of the CEO creating a sense of unfairness and resentment among employees. There is a constant pressure to overperform without providing the necessary support, together with the lack of transparency leading to burnout and stress among the team.
From what I hear people are generally unhappy.
There was a mindset of "work whenever you want as long as you meet the targets". This sounds nice on the paper but there were repeatedly months with almost no cases when targets could not be possibly reached and when one constantly worries about losing the job as a consequence.
No personal career prospects.
No prospects of raise. In my opinoin also bonuses were calculated incorrectly.
Colleagues are talented and very capable inspiring people.
The company management showed a blatant disregard for labor laws in multiple instances, creating an uncomfortable and psychologically unsafe workplace for everyone. Unfortunately, the workplace is also not secured against harassment and abuse.
Unfortunately, in my view the style of leadership is based on dishonesty and manipulation and during the last year things have significantly turned to worse. The rules are being changed along the way and there is insufficient transparency.
Great place to work if you're a self-starter. Pixsy is still a relatively small company, and there's been a lot of room for teammates to grow whenever they make a use-case for a specific topic and show interest in it. I love how agile and dynamic the company is, while remaining very structured and committed to long-term goals.
