- colleagues are fantastic and work together in a really good atmosphere

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Generally people get a long very well and it’s a good atmosphere. Massive lack of social events as there is no designated person to organize these in this office (very different in other countries).

Kommunikation

Communication is up to the discretion of your manager. A lot of information is kept behind closed doors and you hear it from other colleagues first before officially or at all communicated.

Depends on the manager, however, mostly managers can do whatever they want without any consequences.

You can always volunteer for or bring up interesting projects.

Most managers are middle-aged white men.

People tend to get laid off when they become too old and expensive and can be replaced in Romania.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Officially there are volunteering days to take off over the year, however, nobody takes these as managers don’t value or promote this - not important for the business at all. No sustainability or giving back culture.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Benefits are ok but not outstanding. For example, private pension plan contributions are the legal minimum; ESPP is very good, jobrad is nice; no job ticket for public transport out into the middle of nowhere in Unterschleissheim but managers and Sales get a large car allowance (no sustainable incentive).

During summer there were summer Fridays when you were supposed to finish work at 12pm - wasn’t taken serious or encouraged by local management at all.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

It’s up to you to ask for it, not actively promoted, no transparent promotion processes.
