Image, Zukuntsorientiertheit, Relevanz in meinem eigenen Privatleben
Bisher wirklich nichts
Außer einer Klimaanlage für die heißen Tage im Büro gibts nicjts zu wünschen
Familiär
Bei dem Thema ist immer Luft nach oben, aber es wird getan, was möglich ist.
(In addition to the other points)
Optional events with like-minded colleagues
The main downside of organizational issues is compensated by little pressure, appreciation for good work, and creative freedom
Home Office, Flexible Hours and Holidays, mental health days
You'll have to press on for this on your own but when you have specific proposals you'll probably get the possibility.
You won't be paid like in an enterprise
Almost all colleagues are very pleasant to work with and support each other
You will always be listened to, but organizational issues can interfere.
No blaming/shouting/inappropriate demands.
Organization is still évolving and you will probably face some unexpected requirements to a project at some point
Same-level employees are friendly and easy going, always suporting each other
Egocentric Superiors dislike conflicts/constructive criticism and will resort to whatever means possible to drive employees out if they cross that threshold (like "mobbing"). Blind obedience to Scrum and other mundane rules and processes (or specific people!), limited room for reflection, feedback and adjustment. People are frustrated and annoyed but hesitate to speak up about those problems in fear of bad blood or being shouted at/patronized. Mockery of an appraisal process where the employee's Superior and the Department Lead have a private chat with the employee and come up with shallow reasons to give the employee negative feedback making them think they "have room to grow". Employee is manipulated into thinking they shouldn't speak up and instead work on these outlined "issues" instead. Nothing in the appraisal comes in written form so by the next appraisal there is no reflection to the past one and they can easily make up new reasons (bonus negativity if they know the employee wants a raise or wants to evolve). Low salaries, no evolution path (Superiors hold tightly to their positions), outdated egocentic mindset of Superiors, facade of friendliness/openness!
The dev team is in an endless loop of chasing its own tail due to miscommunication and bad practices in processes and code, nothing is ever completed but made sloppily to meet a short-term deadline (yet the final delivery deadling remains obscure). The Product team is God and conflicting with God will quickly raise an alarm. Openly advocating for employee daily work issues will also raise an alarm, the product is above all, everything else is quickly dismissed as inferior because devs' issues are not "real" issues. Scare tactics and mobbing in private meetings behind closed doors is also a thing
Frustration and complaints within the inner circles of the employees, fear of speaking up
No visible evolution path (everyone is in the same position they were years ago apart from the Superiors), rudimentary / shallow appraisal process
Same-level colleagues work well together and support each other
Egocentric Superiors who dislike conflict and employee feedback. The goals that are set by the Superiors are sometimes unrealistic because of poor planning done by them
Salaries are low, there is reluctance in talking about raises within the company (or any demand really)
Sloppiness in the codebase, poor planning and bad practices allover the Backend/Frontend teams communication lead to overloading of tasks
