Great company, amazing product, but unprofessional leadership that is not living by the company values

-Leadership is very unexperienced, decisions are made without a clear structure
-Feedback feels like a one way street. Management is not listening to feedback from employees, but expects employees to follow every guideline by management
-No open and transparent communication and feedback within the company. You'll have to be very careful what you say to whom in order to progress
-Communication is at a very bad level
-No trust regards the execution of the tasks of the employers
-repetitive work
-A lot of employees leaving the company (in Berlin) due to the management and lacking progression

-Hire experienced management to help first time leaders / replace them
-aligning of company values that are communicated and the one that are executed
-Prevent toxic positivity. While it's great to stay positive - if you find something negative/ something that is not working, try to work on it and not just ignore it and say it's good how it is.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Good atmosphere within the sales team. As soon as leadership is involved the atmosphere gets negative / awkward.
Kommunikation
Communication of management is non existent - or unprofessional.
-Not open for Feedback. Feedback sessions are happening on a regular basis, but there are no results or actions
-Feedback and comments are seen more as a threat-> therefore they are handled with objection handling -> No improvement
-Leadership and what they are saying and do is very contradicting.

The team in Berlin is great and helping each other
Work-Life-Balance
Worktime up to you - sometimes meetings in late hours, that you can't skip. Start-up "normal"
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Depending on the team you're in you can have experienced leaders within the company. Most of the managers are unexperienced (no job prior to Spendesk) and have no idea how to operate a scaling startup.
Some of the managers have good technical skills, but clearly lack people skills and empathy
Interessante Aufgaben
Very redundant work. Every employee has a very small scope and not much freedom how to execute their job.

There are no "old" colleagues, but everyone is welcome

You get "okay" equipment to work with, the offices are at great locations.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
A climate group exists at Spendesk but travel within the company is huge and done only by plane. Even on a weekly basis. Back and forth between offices.

Not very known company in Germany. Therefore no real image. The communication to the outside with the given values differs strongly from what you experience within the company
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Possibilities to grow are there. Unfortunately limited for employees that are in the company for a long time. Progression paths are in average longer (2x) than in scale ups with the same size.
