Thank you for the review. It is great to hear that you enjoyed the variety of tasks and the collaboration with your colleagues.

Unfortunately, the vacation policy is determined by the universities, and as an internship company, we must adhere to it. It is quite strict - any interruptions must be made up. During a mandatory internship or practical semester, no vacation is granted. However, we have a 36-hour work week and flexible working hours which allows you to accumulate overtime and take a day off. Additionally, students are paid during our company holidays, such as bridge days or the period between Christmas and New Year. Furthermore, we are always willing to grant leave when possible, for instance, for important personal or study-related appointments. During a voluntary internship, our students are entitled to 2 days of vacation per month.
Generally, you can also work remotely during an internship with us. The extent of this depends on the specific position and tasks. For production-related activities, such as testing and measuring procedures, remote work is only partially or conditionally possible. Moreover, it is important to us that students are well-trained and onboarded, so it is advisable for them to be on-site, especially in the first few weeks, to network with colleagues and get to know the new work environment, etc.
