Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

I definitely want to emphasize that the company leaders are as imperfect as all the other leaders. STABLs leaders however know that and show continuous effort to make a mistake only once. They pass this attitude to us (their employees) by example as well as coaching.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Sometimes quite rapid focus shifts.

please get the organization right :) you know that and we keep bugging you.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

just great. Tasks and priority shifts are most of the times clearly communicated and made sure we're on the same page.

Kommunikation

Cross department a very open culture. As of now, if we find discrepancies, someone has concerns or an idea regarding something, everyone to my knowledge is open to hear them. We value feedback.
We moreover have regular events where the leaders update everyone on the status and the upcoming plans. A small one each week, a big one every quarter.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Colleagues are always helpful. Seriously, I never had a situation where a colleague refused to help someone. We (currently still) have a bandroom, where some colleagues meet after lunch for a jam session.
Every applicant has to go to a so called "experience day" which is essentially a working day at STABL so they can meet people and we can get an impression on whether the person fits the team. Hiring or not is a team decision, everyone has a veto-right.

Work-Life-Balance

We can do home-office whenever we want, we don't have to give a reason or anything.

Interessante Aufgaben

Mostly yes. We're working on a kind of inverter that no one has built before, therefore it's research heavy. That's interesting. However sometimes some boring things just have do be done.

Gleichberechtigung

To my knowledge we have people from over 20 different countries. I didn't notice any sign of racism or sexism.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Didn't notice any kind of discrimination.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The company usually doesn't shoo away from spending money on equipment that makes us more effective. However sometimes saving money is important so things get postponed.
They offer high-end laptops, ergonomic HID devices, ridiculously good headphones, standing-desks and so to everyone.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

One of the company's founders wrote the book "Meine kleine Energiewende". The general spirit of the company is what you would call green. They spend more money on paper-based packaging material so they don't waste so much plastic.
The idea behind the system is to help the energy transition and preserve resources from old car-batteries. So the core is indeed one of responsibility.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

as a rather small company they don't pay as much as BMW or AWS. However they way more than usual start-ups.

From what I noticed, the outside perception on stabl is quite good.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

The company offers coaching for everyone who's interested. They specifically claim to provide a upward career path of expertise alongside leadership.

thank you so much for such a thoughtful and reflected review!
I particularly like your thoughts on the company leaders being as imperfect as all the other leaders out there, but being aware of it and trying to constantly improve.
No doubt we are in a strenuous growth phase that inevitable forces us to constantly change and evolve.
Believe me, everone is trying their very best! Even if this sometimes causes some hardships.
Please don't stop thinking, criticize us hard if necessary (ideally without getting on the personal level), and keep bugging us until we get the organization right ;-)
