High hopes but moving in the wrong direction
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Know-how, blueprints, experience, colleagues, office/perks
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The wrong people have (middle) management positions
Politics play a considerable role, although neglected
Critical feedback is not really welcome
Leadership is not aligned and communicating openly
Current morale is low and if unaddressed many more of the right people will leave
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Return to the roots, kill politics and start building again
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Great atmosphere due to colleagues, relationship with leadership sometimes a bit difficult
Kommunikation
Generally terrible. Meetings to inform everyone happen, but are mostly a shallow show and followed by in-action.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Supportive environment
Work-Life-Balance
Heavily varies. If you can set your own boundaries it works well, but no support from leadership at all. Weekend travel and long hours (sometimes even weekend work) are mostly expected. Leadership does not properly address these things, even when confronted.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Lack of internal alignment within leadership. Many empty promises and repetitive phrases due to inexperienced leads.
Interessante Aufgaben
Used to be great and entrepreneurial but becoming more research/admin-heavy and consulting-style
Gleichberechtigung
There are talks of diversity but without action, management is entirely male, and many women leave after a short time
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Most colleagues are between 25-35
Management is considerably older, with a tangible age/generational gap
Arbeitsbedingungen
Amazing office, tech and other benefits - can't complain
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Things are moving in the right direction (mostly with small steps)
The company is officially carbon-neutral, but travel picked up strongly (even for sustainability projects)
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Salary is market average, but future adjustments seem unlikely (i.e. inflation) - competition mostly pays better & promised bonus is tied to unreachable metrics
Image
Used to be better and unfortunately heading south
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Great insights at the beginning but learning curve flattens quickly, promised promotions and career development paths often remain empty phrases
