My time at STTech is really very stressful and unpleasant. The work environment at Sttech is very toxic, unfair and manipulative due to poor management and I never feel comfortable enough.
You are not allowed to be an average, decently performing employee. All the extra work and hard work is an expectation and still it is never enough for management to consider you as a good employee. Not just that but from what I have seen, even employees who perform well are being ignored and deprived of opportunities if they do not belong to the inner circle of the management. Management has a few favorite employees and everyone else is left to feel like an outsider. This was so bad upto the level that there are separate events being organized for some favorite employees of the management. The worst thing is, management does not even realize that employees are not as dumb as they are thought of and they know all the things that are happening. I think the favoritism and partiality are the worst for employees well being and nothing demotivates employees more than the fact that they are not enough valuable to even get invited, getting work opportunities is a far away thing. Good work and awesome colleagues
I regret to say that my time at STtech has been a truly disappointing and disheartening experience. From the very beginning, it was clear that the company's priorities were far removed from the well-being and satisfaction of its employees.
First and foremost, the expectation to work a minimum of 10 hours per day was not only excessive, but it also demonstrated a complete disregard for a healthy work-life balance. There was a prevailing culture of overwork and burnout, with little consideration given to the toll it took on the employees' physical and mental health. This kind of work environment is unsustainable and counterproductive in the long run.
What was even more disheartening was the complete lack of respect and recognition for the hard work put in by the employees. It felt like our efforts were simply expected, rather than appreciated. There were no acknowledgment or rewards for achievements, no opportunities for growth, and no platform for employees to voice their concerns. This lack of recognition not only demotivated the team but also hindered any potential for personal and professional development.
In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend STTech as an employer. The combination of excessive working hours, lack of respect and recognition, and a dismissive attitude toward employee happiness creates an environment that is toxic and ultimately damaging. It is my hope that the company reevaluates its priorities and takes meaningful steps toward creating a more balanced and employee-centric workplace.

Sehr kompetentes, vielfältiges Team, Hilfsbereitschaft und Zuverlässigkeit auch außerhalb des Berufslebens, Flexible Arbeitszeiten, hohes Niveau, was die Arbeitsleistung betrifft, gut organisierte Events und Workshops
Bis dato würde ich meinerseits nichts kritisieren.
Ich fühle mich im Hinblick auf meine Werkstudententätigkeiten sehr gut betreut und gefördert. Zudem ist dem Arbeitgeber ein großes Lob dahingehend auszusprechen, dass er sehr großen Wert auf das Wohl aller Mitarbeiter*innen legt, was unter anderem auch durch das Angebot regelmäßiger sozialer Events zur Stärkung des Teamgefühls zum Ausdruck kommt.

Mehr austausch zwischen den abteilungen.
Es wird erwartet, dass man seine aufgaben in der abgesprochenen zeit abschließt, insofern es keine unerwarteten probleme gibt. Dabei konnte ich zumindest mir meine zeit relativ frei einteilen: es wird nicht explizit als negativ eingestuft, wenn man mal mitten am tag 1-2 Stunden fehlt. Natürlich alles im rahmen der situation.
Die Projekte ansich sind alle durch die bank weg interessant. Nähe zur aktuellen Forschung bringt so etwas mit sich. Das bedeutet natürlich nicht, dass man jeden Tag auch etwas interessantes macht.
STTech bietet die Möglichkeit, an verschiedenen spannenden Projekten zu arbeiten. Die Aufgaben hierbei sind sehr vielfältig. Je nach Wunsch kann an reinen Softwarelösungen gearbeitet werden, aber auch hardwarenahe Programmierung, Elektronikentwicklung und sogar mechanische Konstruktionen sind möglich. Im Arbeitsalltag wird viel Flexibilität geboten, die individuellen Wünsche der Mitarbeiter werden berücksichtigt.

Unfortunately, if the company's vision is to exploit students for the sole purpose of profit, it is natural that: 1) employees are always the ones who decide to quit (my guess is that avg employment time is below 1 year), and 2) potential candidates abruptly vanish when they realize:
- Lies are normalized; management posts positive reviews on these platforms; and the promise of working closely with large corporations is not worth the lack of respect that is normalized within the company.
