Help the company sell cheap furniture and be happy about it
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The teams are always nice among themselves and also between teams. People are nice and welcoming. Also the summer and winter parties are nice, though they are not enough to keep the employees happy (even though that is what the leadership appears to be thinking).
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Like already mentioned: the fact that every decision has to run through the owner, even though more talented and professional people are working in the company, being able to make the best decisions for the company.
Just hire a competent exec who is not the friend of the owner and is in no way related to anyone.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Just hand over the decision to the experts hired by the company. Those people were (hopefully) selected for a reason, so trust their decisions and forget this "every decision has to be accepted by the owner" mentality.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Constant stress with constantly everything being overdue. The only good about it is the mood amongst colleagues. Also smile while you are being underpaid but the owner arrives with his Ferrari to work.
Kommunikation
You find out everything last minute and a lot of important information is hidden from the workhorses of the company.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Soldiers fighting on the front row are always loyal to each other.
Work-Life-Balance
Close to non existent, with some employees having couple hundred overhours.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Depends which department you work in. Some are kinda nice, some are there because... well nobody knows why.
Interessante Aufgaben
Again, depends on the department, some are boring robot work, some are interesting.
Gleichberechtigung
Sexism from top leaders, close to no people of colour, no elderly coworkers.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Non existent, since there is literally almost no one over 55
Arbeitsbedingungen
Eh it's fine. Again depends on the department a lot.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
A company selling cheap products probably coming from China. Everything that is labeled as eco-friendly is nothing but green-washing. The only reason why I am not voting 1 star here, is because they are donating money to shelters and such once or twice in every decade.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Again, depends on the department, but generally people are underpaid.
Image
Openly everybody is happy and all, but in reality most of the people are unhappy.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Depends in which department you work in: some have some perspective, some zero.
