There should be a reaction on misbehaviour, regardless on which level it happens. Because covering it shows that to higher management the average employee is not worth anything. Of course one half of their job is to keep the project on track, but the other half is managing people, bringing them forward so they can evolve and push the project further. This last piece seems to be forgotten.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
It gets worse and worse as the plant reduces its workforce to 1/3, in our team capable people are leaving, open positions take long time to be filled again as public infrastructure is bad and not everyone has a car or wants to come by public transportation.
From my experience compliments are not existent, even after giving 110%.
Kommunikation
In the team we move in circles and work often needs a long time to be finished, either because information is missing and developers have to guess -where you have to go back a few steps and start again right before you finish your work- or because details, that were initially agreed on, are now wrong.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
It's the result of work atmosphere and communication.
Work-Life-Balance
Vacation can be taken anytime, I did not have a declined vacation application once. You can work your contractual hours, but I suppose without some overtime you'll be left out on a raise.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
From my experience the behaviour is bad and totally random:
- You make a small mistake, it gets extremely inflated and projected on your whole work.
- Trying to act on this misbehaviour resulted in nothing, as higher management was not interested in following this case.
- After a while, you are told to be back on the right track and improving, without having changed your work style.
- No appreciation at all.
- Personal information told in confidence was given to third party

You have to take initiative on courses etc. and one per year is permitted. But I do not know if you could do more.
